Really cool game, the kind of tower defense really fits the theme, although I didn’t like that much the clicker aspect of this
I really like these kinds of games. Overall had a good time with it. With some more time you could really expand on this idea and add more resources and unit types and such. I only made it to day -2. Curious if there is a "win" possibility?
there is a victory have the waves of enemies end and you've destroyed them all
Ill have to try again!
I liked it! i'm a fan of simulation games, and this is one of them. i liked the goofy artstyle and the jazz music. Where does the forgotten man come into this? that's the reason why i clicked lol. i died on day -2.
Forgotten man is an easter egg (but it's not in the jam version so i don't know if it was kinda clickbait)
ah. that makes sense. my game has a deltarune easter egg, so i was excited to see someone else's deltarune easter egg.
ok a good strategy i found after building a mine go all in on villager untel last day ,made remember aoe , GG
Fantastic work! It was a fun and memorable experience.
Such a complex system to be made in 4 days! My only nitpicks would be the presentation and tutorial. I had a lot of fun. Was surprised u even had an equipment mechanic haha.
Yep the tutorial was kinda an after thought because i didn't have any playtesters while making it so i didn't know a good way to teach others
I love those kind of easy at a glance but could be very deep strategy games. Criticism would be if you already have a cooldown on how fastplayer can click on tree/stone to gather materials you could just make to hold LMB or even hover a cursor. Also idk but I couln't figure out how to produce an axe in balcksmith, I inserted materials but there was nothing to click and the pawns didn't make it on their own. Keep working on it, there is a potential for sure. Good luck! :D
After the axe is made a pawn should go pick it up from the blacksmith and take the required materials from there but i should have added a visual for it (if it really was that instead of and actual bug I'm just guessing)
Nice game, I like the hats
