Pretty solid game. The car controlled well. Great job!

Thank you so much for trying it out!!!!

the controls were super fun arcade-y. it has a lot of potential if you develop it thinking like we are playing a joystick arcade machine in a game parlor imo.

Developer

Sure thing man!! I'll do that!!!!!

Really similar to one of my fav mobile games PAKO 3 which I love the only thing is using the arrows/wasd going toward the camera feels strange at first idk if thats just me. Gj.

Developer

It is actually, thanks for noticing, and hey thanks for trying out the game. Happy you liked the game!!!!

Nice intuitive and fun game!!! I especially likes "star" mechanic it brings me back when i was young and play old gta and try to reach 5 stars XDDD thanks for that type of nostalgia))) Well Done!!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much, makes me happy i was able to bring the nostalgia back. These system are inspired from the same GTA star police and NFS like police behavior and wanted capture system. Put a lot of thought into it, happy you loved it.

and How many stars were you able to get? Star 5 police are pretty annoying though...

Submitted(+1)

Yea, i remember it in old nfs, like original mostwanted and carbon, i have that memories, but stars from gta for me more nostalgic)))

I love to make 2d Prince of Persia and currently working on a 3D version of Prince of Persia, if this also intrest you you can follow up on itch and instagram from my itch homepage. Thats the place i usually keep updates the most.

I checked your submission for the jam, man the world design is soo lovely and the concept is also really well done, i'd say a beautiful take on the theme.

I checked your profile and found Dinocut and How Knights are made, having the best ones in art style. Did you did the art for them?

It's quite an polished game! I think the main gameplay loop is quite fun, I really like the addition of police in the game, it makes the game a lot more strategic and you need to lose them in the corners since they seem to rubberband quite a lot! I definitely think some sort of BGM would help the game a lot. Listening to the same car engine audio and skid marks makes the game quite boring even though the gameplay is quite fun.

I think it's also unclear on the collision with other cop cars. There isn't enough feedback to tell if my ram actually did anything or if I just damaged my car for no reason. Adding some sort of effect (both visual and audio cues) would make collisions a lot more responsive and more dynamic!

And of course I quite like the premise you themed around the count down theme. I feel like the narrative could be expanded much more to fit the mafia-themed package delivery better but for a jam I think it's already good!

Developer

Thank you so so much for the detailed feedback. Happy you noticed rubberbanding, spent most of my time there in the player controls and police AI.

Yep the bgm went major missing, as i missed adding it last minute.

I'll sure add the changes mentioned post jam, thank you so much!!!!!

It's a really good game! you could have added procedural generation to make it feel bigger but it's just a personal opinion, it's a solid 9/10 no questions asked. would have likes a music track though :D usually music track is best when the game has long moments of silence which it definitely has. mine doesn't as it has a constant ticking sound but this deserves one it will straight become a 10/10 game.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so so much for trying the game. I'll definately add some good pumping music that makes the silence brrrrrrr away!!

Submitted(+1)

The game is fun, but the map feels too small for how fast the car is.

Developer

Thanks for trying out the game, and the map was last minute option, will be a bigger and higher map post jam!!

it was a fun lil game but why is the acceleration automatic lmao

Developer

Hey thanks for trying the game, acceleration is auto so you keep driving, kind of something i was aiming to add so uncontrolled fun!!

Submitted(+1)

Good game, really good driving controls. Good job :)

Developer

Thankyou so much for trying out the game!!!!

Really charming small little driving game. I wish there were some music to boost the ambience though. Maybe something like a drift when braking it would be even better. Overall a decent game.

Developer

Thank you so much for taking your time and trying out the game. For the audio i completely missed it by deadline. I'll add drifting properly post jam.
