Thank you so much for playing the game! The original design was a grid tactics game like Into the Breach, but it proved too much for me to make. I'm glad we cut it down to the current mechanics though, happy that you liked it!

Thank you so much for playing the game! The battle mechanics are actually an adaptation of Star Renegades, and that game was so pretty we had to do it justice with the art!

Nah you're definitely not! If we had more time I could definitely have explained the systems better. But still thank you for the kind words, putting this on Steam will take a much, much longer journey. But there will be some updates to the game to test the water, so do stay tuned!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We do plan to update the game after the jam, so stay tuned if you are interested!

Well we do wish that we can make this into a full game, but will definitely take quite some effort! I'm glad that you liked the game so much though. There will definitely be an update to the game, so stay tuned!

When I watched streamers play the game I did see a couple turn indicator bugs, so we will definitely work on fixing that! Glad you liked the game so much, definitely do stay tune for some updates!

Yeah the tutorial is definitely the weakest link currently. This was the only way I could think that could create a tutorial in 3 hours that minimizes the chance of it breaking, so it ended up just a bunch of walls of text. But still thanks for playing and liking the game!

Thanks for the kind words. Everything definitely have some rough edges that we would need to fix, so thank you for the feedback. I didn't realize that I wasn't placing full stops haha, sorry about that, I must have missed it when entering the data into ScriptableObjects. Anyway thanks for coming and trying it!

Thanks for playing it! We will definitely try to push the game further, so please stay tuned!

Thanks for such kind words! Yeah that was definitely the style we were aiming for. Most of the time and effort was put into how can we elevate the feeling that it is an actual mechanical diorama. Thank you so much for giving it a try!

Thanks for the compliment! We much appreciated it

Yeah definitely, we also wished we can make more than 1 level, as we felt leaving the player after the tutorial seems like a massive cliffhanger haha. But thank you so much for trying it and liking it!

Thank you so much for leaving such high praise despite not being able to play it. The fact that you tried to play it with another PC is more than heartwarming enough for us. If you want, you can DM me on Discord and I can send you an executable to see if that would be better, since Unity web for 3D is kind of doodoo. Anyway thanks for leaving such kind words!

Yeah, a lot of the difficulty and balancing issue on this one was RNG. I didn't have time to make a proper behavior tree, so I left the attack selection to RNGesus. Thank you so much for playing and leaving feedback though! Much appreciated it.

My biggest mistake this jam has to be the tutorial and the balancing haha, so I'm glad that people still managed to understand it despite my shortcoming! I think the game's hard because I left a lot of the difficulty to RNG. But still, thanks a lot for playing and liking the game!

One of my main gripe this jam was how poorly I explained the stun and the time cost, so I'm glad that people still managed to understand it despite my shortcoming! Thanks for playing the game. I'm glad you had fun.

Finally gotten around with trying this one. The puzzle was very good! But I kind of just suck at these kinds of game. You don't know how hard I laugh when I saw the name BAWKtracking, and the fact that the chicken do in fact BAWK every time he moves. My only nitpick would be that I think you guys might have forgot to loop the backing track or something, since eventually I took so long that I stopped hearing music haha. Anyway very entertaining puzzle game, great job!

This game is insanely cool, I can't believe I have never saw this before. The sound, the art, the vibe, the JUICE it's all very very good. I also love the concept of discovering new areas if you manage to stay in a system enough. As someone who spent nearly a thousand hours in KSP, this is so satisfying. I don't like to linger on a game for too long, but I will definitely come back! Great work!

Overall pretty fun game, it is a bit slow though. The fights are pretty fun, but definitely harder than advertised, I died on the 5th boss. I have only tried 1 character currently but it feels good, the kit does have a decent amount of variety and encourages you to line up the shot.

But let's get to the more pressing feedback. The idea is good but the execution leaves some to be desired. It feels slow not necessary from a long timer, but from a lack of game juice, like, some variance or pitching of the sfx, a simple backing track, particle effects or something like that. Personally think this isn't a case of over-scoping, you just placed a lot of priority into the wrong thing. You are thinking that making 10 bosses and 3 classes would be impressive, and I agree, it is. But the focus once you got enough content shouldn't be to make more content, but to make the existing content feels good. It's like a very deep pond, but the water is murky so you don't see what's underneath. If you had cut the content by half and use that time to make the game more appealing, this would have been a much much better game. When a player beat a boss, you should make them think "That was so cool, I want another one". This just makes me feel like that was neat and leave, never actually seeing the last bosses. I hope you don't take this the wrong way, the game is great for what it is, but I just feel like this is so much wasted potential.

Anyway, good job nonetheless on finishing the game. I'll leave a high score for ya. Hope you can improve it in the future.

Really good addition, definitely make it got more depth! I did see the map for the extra areas, looking forward to it

Love the butterflies in your stomach idea! Game is quite fun, as at the end it gets quite hectic. There were like stretches of 10s straight without a pizza with 4 caterpillars waiting for a pizza, which increase tension yes but also just kinds of make you sit there and just pray for it, which I don't like that much. Also it's a big vague with some wants. Like the being born one I still don't know what the answer to is lol. But you know what's the biggest problem is? YOUR BURGER DOESN'T HAVE CHEESE??? WHAT IS THIS HERESY YOU MESSED ME UP SO BAD. All jokes aside its a very good game, love the style, very clean execution.

Very cute art and very fun puzzle! I was reading the hole was bugged description, and I kept testing what holes you were talking about lol because I saw that most hole still kills me. Then I realized it's the permanent hole not the collapsing one. It feels very good to play, the puzzles are a bit easy, but the last stage really ramped it up, making a very good final level. Overall I love it, a very chill and adorable game!

I thought the game only had 1 enemy and tried to brute force him lol. Was surprised when the next guy jumps out. Overall a good game, reminds me a lot of like the early game Hollow Knight or Terraria fight, though because of the shield there's no difficulty at all. A lot of times the enemy movesets are just annoying because they run away more than anything, and some of the attack like the wizard's star shower is literally undodgeable, which really promotes just holding shield. Honestly I don't know if I like the countdown being another victory condition, it feels slightly forced. Also adding maybe like 1 more animation variation of the attack, and pitching up or down the hit sound by 1-5% each time would make it feel much better. But overall good game, good art!

Haha no worries. I heard from many players that it is way harder than expected. I’m glad you still liked it.

Thanks for the feedback, I am glad you liked it!

Thanks for stopping by! The art is a combination of hand-drawn textures, normal maps and a custom cardboard shader graph. Glad you liked it!

Thanks for the review! Yes all of our art are made digitally, then enhanced using shaders. It’s the perfect storm of hand-drawn art and technical art!

Haha, thanks for the compliments. The inspiration is actually mentioned in the description if you look. Definitely do check it out, I believe it to be one of the classics in turn-based tactics games.

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for the compliment! It's easier when you got a GOATed artist and a niche inspiration!

Careful what you ask for bro (idk why I did this but I think it's kind of funny)

Thanks for the compliments. Feedback noted, a lot of people did complain about the tutorial, which is something that I wished I had more time to make. I'm glad you liked it though.

Thanks a lot! I'm glad that you liked it

Thanks! Yours also look very stunning!

Glad that you liked the combat! I wish I had more time to explain everything better.

Cảm ơn mọi người đã chơi và cho feedback nha! Hi vọng bọn mình có thể tiếp tục đóng góp cho ngành game của Việt Nam trong tương lai

Thanks for the feedback! Originally I had a system of pointing arrows, but it just didn't work and I didn't have time. If we update the game we would definitely do that!

I would definitely credit the artist for managing this! We developed a system where I would describe to him what I need, and he just makes it without confirmation, and I take whatever I get and spin it so that it works! This time he designed the characters first, and it had white outlines like a sticker, so I thought, hey that looks like Paper Mario, and we locked all assets into that theme. And I would just take whatever he throws at me, basically no edit, no backseating. Hope this helps.

Very good atmosphere and concept. It is easy to understand but still challenging enough that it is really enjoyable. Definitely worth the play.

Really charming small little driving game. I wish there were some music to boost the ambience though. Maybe something like a drift when braking it would be even better. Overall a decent game.
