The story is told trough dreams, they are feverish and the more you dream the harder the game becomes. Dreams are live action, contrasting the game's cartoony aesthetic, making it exceedingly weirder than anticipated.

Big fan of this one. I was confused at first, thinking I was competing against the smaller worms but then I realized what I'm meant to do and I really enjoyed it.

Developer(+1)

Yea I did make the game a bit confusing, but this was intentional one of my game design philosophy is "NO HANDHOGLING". Hence the nature of the game that might appear confusing at the start. I am glad you enjoyed this game I plan on making more in the future. This jam gave me validation to stop working on my development and game design skills and focus on actually making games. Thank you very much for the feedback.

Noo, my poor babies getting plucked out of the dirt! The game definitely deserves the 9 in weird :). Well done on adding meaningful progression, kept me playing for quite a bit.

Developer(+1)

Thank you. Yes your babies do get plucked form dirt. When the fisherman comes he chooses one of the worms alive and plucks it out from the ground. This is one of the reason to get babies. Thank you for playing the game this means a lot to me and my team.

Good game

Developer

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.

the gameplay loop is really fun and successfully dodging the hand feels amazing

thouh the music is definitely not supposed to sound the way it sounded for me

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it. Music and sounds were implemented 4 hours before jam finished. The music works fine in the downloadable builds however it has some issues in the web build I didn't have enough time to polish the dynamic music system for web builds so it has some issues. I will fix it and add move enemies and layers after the jam is finished.

It's a fun game, I liked it.

However, I don't know English well by ear, so I skipped almost all the scenes.
I think subtitles would have given me more understanding.

Anyway, the game is good, thank you.

Developer(+1)

I am glad you enjoyed it a lot of sweat love and effort as poured into this game. Even if you knew English well by ear that wouldn't do much here. The cutscenes are intentionally complicated, meant to be understood visually,  not trough audio, in fact after one point we intentionally switch the language.
