Quite a competent Shadowdark dungeon crawl full of dragons! The visual design is what I’d expect of any Shadowdark adventure. Great use of the stock art, the watabou map, and I like the use of the non-Montserrat font.
Text is terse, though I had to do a double-take on a few points to be sure (like, is Zig the thief-turned-scholar that found the tomb?). Would’ve been nice to hear a bit more about the wyrmlen. I get that they are dragonborn, but could be nice to have an idea of why they trapped themselves in the tomb, who and where is Auzxenor. Is he the dude that asks for gold to keep the doors open for longer? We get a couple of other named characters (the dragon-turned-wyrmlen-statue and the lich).
A short, sweet, crunchy adventure! I guess my overthinking players have a good chance to get their characters locked into that chambers.
I like the cover art, cool concept for a race against time dungeon.
That color/transparency on the title is such a great choice and it really primes something outside of the typical house style of B&W Shadowdark.
My praise here is for all of the items and situations that have their own flair. The plate mail in the zappy room isn't just plate mail it's blackened plat mail. There's rolling skulls and riddle slurring apparitions. Super cool!
I see at least one check for spotting things that I assume would also be satisfied by simply looking, it's really the only nitpick I can make here. Everything else is very neat and tidy, good concept, tight writing.
Cool adventure! The cover is great and very old-school. I like the ideas and the clean layout :D The twist of Wyrmlen statue is my fave xD
Nice design with a very clean layout. I like it a lot.
This is a banger! Stunning cover and art and a great dungeon. Love the effect on the title
