entire game was a state of slowly diminishing returns, words cost increased faster than i could earn money, ended when i could only draw three and got  "EUI" and thats with 2 levels in balancing consonants and vowels. each draw was costing 15, and i see no way to earn money without using letters.

Thank you for this — it turned out to be the most valuable report I've had, and I owe you a proper answer.

You were right on every count,

it was design faults stacked on top of each other.

1. Short words were structurally unprofitable.

QUIZ now beats SILENT, because letter values matter more than length again.

2. Tile prices inflated forever.

Cost multiplied by 1.01 per lifetime draw — The coefficient is now 1.003 (4.5× at 500 draws instead of 145×), **and publishing a new edition resets it entirely.** Rising prices are now a signal that it's time to prestige, not a dead end.

3. The repeat penalty is gone.

Also fixed: the rescue system fires whenever no word can be made from your tiles and you can't afford a reroll.

I'd be grateful if you gave it another run — and if it still feels like a slog anywhere, please tell me. This kind of report is invaluable to me. 🙏

I also found this to be the case.  I found that the cost of letters is always increasing.

I thought upgrading Ink Economy was supposed to decrease the cost?

I'm not noticing any decrease. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

I'm enjoying the game though.

Thank you very much for playing.
Yes cost of letter increase as you go but resets if you prestige (aka publish new edition). Intend was to move away from monotonous word searches and force player to upgrade and prestige. I'll update ui.
