have you made sure to regain full hp after defeating bo to have the best chance against the last one

anyone know what to do after the year repeats Qi does not. I'm losing my mind here, dont hint just tell me, ive tried everything i can think of but maxing life nourishing which considering its 10x costs seems unlikely

please read all my comments and edits in a  positive note, I wouldn’t write this much for a game i didn’t like. If we are talking about martial will, maybe moving it to a separate tab or expansion (or add it to techniques)  where after you unlock it, it has like lvl10 - ??? level 25 - ??? level 50 - ??? so we know where the goalpost is. I try not to offer suggestions about game features because its YOUR game, so please disregard for any reason.

EDIT: in the shop i can see several gold cost items from the start of the game, i recently spent a life accumulating the gold needed to buy them and i was unable to purchase them, I think i shouldnt be able to see them at this point?

EDIT2: i love the text transitions when you gain an actual cultivation method, although 120 years of practice and not even a single breath of Qi.... my talent is astounding in its lack.

EDIT3: the longevity technique that requires 0.01 Qi, if you reincarnate while doing it the character defaults to farming (since it doesn’t have any Qi), a suggestion would be to default to cultivation instead.

EDIT4: so ive reached martial will 35, reached 100 in tempering meridians and gained all 10 inheritances. I have no idea what to do now but wait and spend time extending my life to hopefully maybe reach 1 Qi. and yet i still only have sucker punch, am i missing something?

EDIT5: familiarity in everything but sect trial at 25, martial will at 60+ got Qi to 1 did nothing.... am i just meant to grind longevity when it costs 10-15x more per level for 100 levels?

one thing im unsure about, is it ever worth continuing a work after you have unlocked the "next" one? little obsessive so currently im getting them each to 101 before moving onto the next one just incase there is some benefit.

your body condition at a certain age (30ish at the start) also starts decaying and that reduces your body too.

Completely separate from any commentary that has already been said by other people multiple times, but i find it hilarious that it takes about 80 years for the guy to learn enough farming to go from just furrowing the dirt, to also placing seeds properly.  Poor guy.

EDIT: suggestion to cap the amount of martial will you can get from any specific enemy. if i buy the 90c knife before i decline too hard i can farm thousands of martial will in a single run, cant imagine 1 shotting some pickpockets would really teach you that much

EDIT2: just acquired sucker punch, its use is both active AND unaffected by time speed up? so you can sucker punch once every decade or so, if your fighting fast

EDIT3: please please please, give me decimals for body. seeing 1 when i have 1.5 at the start is giving me a brain spawn. (or later 2.5 + sucker punch bonus)

EDIT4: being able to turn off  two pickpockets after revealing a certain amount of enemies/familiarity would be nice.

EDIT5: I love the "hiring yard" quest (and the little flavour text conversations), but i do feel like there needs to be a time limit on it. as it is now i can technically get hired 20 years after they post the job listing... or even later.

EDIT6: the work task in lower yard is shower as lower sect instead of lower yard/lower stable. while equipment says it is lower yard.

EDIT7: the curve of the game between escort work and hunter work needs a little adjustment. because you dont have anything that needs money i reached hunter without going above level 25 of the first level of escort missions, and fast enough that i still havent completed the stonewall body method, and already gained trail hardened step, i havent really been pushing for "fast" progress.

entire game was a state of slowly diminishing returns, words cost increased faster than i could earn money, ended when i could only draw three and got  "EUI" and thats with 2 levels in balancing consonants and vowels. each draw was costing 15, and i see no way to earn money without using letters.

so the only thing I'm still confused about is the "wage coming in", if my wage comes in at the end of the month, what is the money I'm constantly earning?

I'm glad I was able to help, this game is simple but it had me entirely engrossed.

so there seems to be some bugs at the time of paying the minimum. a couple of times i GAINED almost what the minimum was as just free money. and when i pay the minimum it doesnt take the full amount, i was meant to pay 1.4 mil and had 1.6, but was left with 800k after the payment.EDIT: it seems like it was seperately counting my passive income, and the income i received as seperate things, and only took or gave the difference. ( so if i had 1 million but it calculated i would be short 400k it would only take 400k)

The credit check reducing interest function never actually mattered, the debt was paid off before i could get my credit score high enough; also im not entirely sure what the "sell your car" "sublet your apartment" actually DID.

Still enjoyed it, just left a little confused.

enjoyed the game. strong thumbs up, looking forward to new content

5/10 at best.

absolutely brutally slow and not a great UX.

Great game absolutely let down by the magnet collection system.
if i were to make a suggestion, reduce the amount the gems swing back and forth by like 20-30% as just a baseline buff.
then add it either as base or an upgrade to "automatically digest all gems still in the field if you win the map"

9/10 down to 6.5/10

on firefox, for some reason the new game button does not work. load, settings and credits work though. entering/exiting full screen doesnt effect it. ill try again another day.

New comment after playing and completing the current clan members.
The "increased brush size" upgrade for knowledge is just a flat mild negative. farming knowledge is not effected by how much of the ink you are spreading, but instead by the skill, and how long you spend doing it. Increasing the brush size currently provides no benefit and a very teeny downside by completing each talisman faster. also "cousing" is actually spelt cousin.

looking forward to new updates to play it some more.
i really like the upgrades that let you farm a small amount of another resource too. feels very rewarding.

The combination system seems not to always work, i tried to combine 3 tier 1 stealth imps and it didnt work, and the same happened when i tried to get a second turtle goblin, they wouldnt combine. other than that, fun game!

Bug reports: full screen doesnt expand the game for me on firefox
When two raindrops hit the cup/bowl/bucket only one counts.
it can take more than one click to access the shop, and in non fullscreen mode submission covers part of the shop/weather/upgrades tab buttons.
after buying more rain per raindrop there is now a thin black line in the background of clouds moving.
in the"shop" tab, the upgrade it took half covers the shop/upgrade/weather tabs.
after buying rain amplifier the actual amount of rain per drop i get seems to have gone down rather than up (bought first upgrade at steel basin)

of course, i haven't had time to play too much so haven't beaten him yet. but im looking forward to the greedy uncle, the jealous brother, the disappointed father and the overbearing patriarch :D and then of course, the families supreme elder! all throwing themselves at you one at a time for maximum aura farming. potentially having the death animation as a face getting slapped would be funny but maybe a bit TOO satirical for the game
EDIT2: oh damn, came back for another round and realised it didnt save my progress. definitely a suggestion for improvement :P

I always like to try "cultivation games", and most of them fall into the exact same track of too many features thrown at you at once, and unengaging gameplay. this was literally the opposite. the mini games follow a similar vein but remain differently enough to provide some longevity. the gameplay unfurls in absorbable pieces, and the game itself is fun.

Suggestions:
Descriptions for the skills on the left. (probably something you already intend to do)
A reward for completing a "letter", although this does counter the "the slower you write the letter the more you get from each letter" so feel free to ignore me.

as a very early build. solid 8/10.

it took 3 THREE ragequits to realise the "bugs" choice was also ragebait. i feel stupid. silly fun game.

The beginning of the game is far too slow, and the game doesn’t scroll properly in non full screen mode(scrolling the game and the page).

Falls to the same flaw as a lot of AI made games make (other than looking identical). everything is thrown at you at once, instead of a gradient. Checked and ive made the same comment on another game made by same person/people.

Doesnt work.

EDIT after three days: came back hoping the dev had spoken, or an update had come. no such luck.

i wish i could see the island shrink better, and you basically don’t get to see the crabs at all, could do with the camera view coming from slightly further away

so im running firefox and it doesnt do hover damage, only when the circle hits the target, it knocks them a bit, but if you stay hovered over it does nothing. I even got a hover upgrade incase "hover damage" hadnt been unlocked yet, but no change.

1 skill tree, 2 skill column's and a prestige feels a bit much. especially when you first go to prestige and most of the options are "10%/20%/50% global income". just feels like the skills could just all be in the tree, or remove the tree.

game looks interesting but i have no idea what’s going on., i just make more springs and pipe them to the reservoir...

it feels like once you unlock hungry maw/ +damage per kill... the difficulty kinda falls off a cliff, I made it to floor 18 and died, then made it straight to floor 50.

why did hitting level 50 give a key, only for you to have to go BACK to the door, which is instant, to go further/end?

also why do some bosses give mutations and others dont?

falls into the same trap as the other AI generated Cultivation idle games, too many features that are completely superfluous. delay if you attempt to click to buy multiple things at once. no clarity for some of the information on screen.

how am I meant to cool down? my thermal hit 100%, and i got the achievement for breaking the thermal lock... but its still rising and is at 400%+ with everything throttled... how do i reduce heat?

Prestige upgrades really dont feel worth resetting progress, and this game needs wayyyy to many clicks, with no ability to reduce them. maybe an upgrade that adds a button beside each ticket that just is "repeat previous purchase of this ticket" so if you picked 2 9 17 18 and 5x, it would just rebuy that instantly, instead of buy ticket, previous, buy.

this just looks like a "the first million" but with a much worse  user interface. I thought you had to make a significant difference in the game for it not to be plagiarism. i guess technically the cards are different?.

Coudlnt even get passed age 10 as the lag and stuttering got too annoying, click a few times and half of them take 2-5 seconds before they register.

I am SHOCKED the AI cant code a proper game. I am not shocked it got released in this state

My only complaint is that it is far too short.
I feel like there would be more game in that 5 day game jam if you just stayed awake all five days. (joke)

Love the game. definitely scratched that itch.

far FAR too slow. Nothing particularly interesting. 5/10

couldnt complete tutorial because i dropped some coal due to the BAFFLING controls.

mildly interesting concept.... but nothing is explained. what is a synergy boost? what does mastery actually do? what do the individual levels DO?

bug where sometimes you can do 2 mastery at once after you have research task +1 if you turn off all research, select 2 mastery and then 2 research, but doesnt work in reverse

The challenge that makes researches automatically start researching when another completes makes minimalist practically impossible to achieve. you cannot complete the loop drive, or focus exclusively on one thing (like physics)

The last two challenges feel like they really punish you for any loops you've done.

After compression all the research levels are off  like 0.000000002451435667 kind of off.

one of the milestones requires breakthroughs chosen ?/10 but there are only 5 breakthrough choices and it doesnt stack each loop

I have a fragment that says 87k TF/S and yet im getting 35 TF/s. i have selected and unselected it which makes no change

why does getting 1 dantian Qi costs 20-40 but continuing to second costs 200+, then if you buy before 200+ you get 1 and lose all scattered Qi even if its at 199.

EDIT; if you save up scattered Qi you can also go much higher than your contribution cap

EDIT2: got the  sect contribution "outer court automation" and can now no longer get any scattered Qi(because it auto spends instantly) to get contribution points....

EDIT3: after reaching nascent soul i can now just click form nascent soul over and over getting 1 each time without forming a foundation or core.

.... These all seems like really easy to spot bugs with even a basic QA pass so ill stop here.

interesting game, although there were two issues for me. firefox fullscreen, anytime text appeared the entire game stuttered and ground to a halt for a few seconds. and on the third layer for some reason the currency top right started getting bigger every time it increased (seems like it wasnt decreasing in size properly), until the currency was no longer on the screen any more.

quick game, enjoyed it. good job!
