Really good and clean game. Everything from the color palette, artstyle, little polish elements, music and SFX worked together very well.

I don't have a lot to say, the game was very satisfying.

The only thing : I felt some delay to activate shield, seems like it's the time for the animation to complete, I died many times because of that, and was kinda frustrating.

Really good work !

Thanks for playing! The delay to add shield was intentional, it's coupled with a short acceleration and we even tried to add "SHIELD UP" text, yellow outline, and sfx to try to indicate that. The reasoning for this was mostly balance.

But I do see your point, maybe we should have increased the acceleration duration to make it feel more clear!

Such a clean pixel art style and color palette! Smashing through asteroids at high speed once your shield is charged feels super satisfying. Really great arcade loop, left a rating!

Nice game, I felt the stardust dropped quite quickly but maybe I'm not that great at it!

It's a good game, but I wish I could control the rocket using the arrow keys in addition to the mouse

Good game!

I found the progression to be a little repetitive after a while, so it started to feel a bit monotonous.

The sound effects and music are great, but I think the game could use something more to keep the experience feeling fresh as you progress.

Wow, this is such a good game! The concept, the sound, music, visuals! I like the tension between needing to choose when to boost and not to boost.

Was just checking out how you did this and just in case you didn't know, you can flatten out the `with` block like this in Easel:

with BoostLevel {

        with ViewZoom {

            with OverheatFlashOn {

              with ShakeOffset {

This can be:

with BoostLevel, ViewZoom, OverheatFlashOn, ShakeOffset { }

Really really awesome work!

Thanks! We tried really hard in terms of the visuals/sound/ux to try to distinguish it. I'll definitely keep in mind that syntax!
