I share this sentiment with Forlorn Skulk. Damn, I have to check Enigma out now! I love the atmosphere and the theme in this. It transported me into the old days detective novel of investigation. like . . . Tintin I would say? an adventure in bizzare realm filled with investigation and uncovering dark mysteries/artifacts. It got me really intrigued and I also love the description on each of the places, really evocative! This got the theme for sure!

Ah! Another fan of beloved franco-belgian comics! Tintin and Blake and Mortimer were the main inspirations for Enigma, and although it morphed into more than just a Tintin ttrpg, it still holds onto those roots. Dastardly villains, comic relief, heroes who always seem to see it through to the end.

Obviously appendix-n is a little different from the era of Tintin, but there were some weird Blake and Mortimer adventures where they go to Atlantis, the future, etc so I felt like I could make it fit. Thank you for the kind words, hope you get to try out Enigma!
