The evocative writing and descriptions here are really excellent. You've done a wonderful job targeting all that detail directly at your core conceit too, which makes it all very effective at the table (I suspect).
Damn, what a nice comment. I played my first ttrpg in 98' and have never stopped. This, however is my first attempt at writing something for a general audience as opposed to prepping sessions, etc. You made my day.
