The Elijah Smith/David Perkins thing was definitely a bug, sorry about that! I’ve updated the game to fix it.
I also completely agree with you about the instant text. All my jam games were made in my spare time after work over the course of 1-2 weeks so they lack some QoL features like options for text speed/instant text. (In the full game I’m working on now, there’s an option for it.)
