Players should have a good…time with this one.
Cool concept! I appreciate the GM notes. Also the menue is really fun.
This is a clever concept, and it's broad enough to be slotted into a whole bunch of campaigns. I like the Final Draught and concept of paying in time as well.
This is your first? Well done! The premise of the Timekeeper rocks, and the suggested scenario works across with any campaign. I want to see the rest of the menu on the cover, and the museum intrigues me, so I'd love to see a follow-up detailing the curiosities in there. I like the map, but it almost feels irrelevant since the party doesn't need to go anywhere past the Tavern.
I actually have the full menu made; I'll post it once the rating period is over, since we're limited to the 4-pages. I appreciate the feedback!
I think you can add it as a supplement and everyone rating it will understand. It's not required reading for the entry or anything like that.
Oh, sweet. Went ahead and tossed it up, then! Not my best pun-work, but it's something to go off of!
One of the best I've read so far, I really enjoyed this. The premade scenarios were useful but not limiting, too.
I'd love to see more about the museum!
I really enjoy this submission. The location has a lot of character and feels like it can be lifted and dropped into a wide variety of settings and stories without much heavy lifting from the GM. I think the premade scenario is a pretty safe demonstration of what could be done, but maybe could be pushed a little bit further to highlight the time travel angle. I'd also consider flipping your third and fourth page around. It feels like your main product here is the Tavern itself. The scenario is a cherry on top, so I'd save that for last.
Thanks for the in-depth review! I appreciate the suggestions - with this being my first Jam, every bit of feedback helps!
Callahan's Crosstime Saloon meets Discworld, with a splash of Pan's Labyrinth... I love it!
If you are going to do time travel, it is best to keep it weird, and this definitely delivers on that.
Congrats on publishing your first module! Looks very interesting.
