I just finished playing Your Happy Place, and to say I’m blown away is a massive understatement. This isn't just another Backrooms project; it is THE Backrooms game I’ve been waiting to play for years.
The blend of Liminal Spaces, Dreamcore aesthetic, and that eerie, nostalgia-heavy VHS camcorder visual filter creates an atmosphere so dense you can practically feel it. The lighting, powered by Unreal Engine 5's Lumen system, makes every yellow hallway and empty room look terrifyingly real yet deeply surreal.
Knowing that this started as a passion prototype years ago and was finally brought to life for the Liminal Game Jam 2026 makes it even more special. You can feel the absolute love, effort, and vision put into every single frame. The sense of isolation, eerie nostalgia, and psychological dread is nailed to perfection.
