The strong grip on vibes makes art, text and conteng go together sweetly. This reminds me a lot of old school trojka, TEA or Vaarn, three things i love

The landscape art is stunning! Locations are simple yet evocative, and the regional activities seems like a great way to lightly include this module in a sandbox campaign and have the cult just act as a distant villain that eventually needs to be dealt with. Definitely saving here to use in the future!
Marvelous combination of art, lore, and gameable elements that make it easy for this adventure to be dropped into long campaigns.
The regional cult activities sells this as a drop-scenario to any adventure or ongoing campaign, and that raises it's Gameability for me, though I'd love to see some interiors! The art is gorgeous, and the concept of an astral god needing a mortal body has me intrigued!
Great game!
Astounding art vibes with probably the clearest way to map a location with a beautiful Mobius-esque (or dare I say Electrum Archive inspired?) spread. Loved the clear information design and easy to track writing.
I really appreciated how you described the Gilded Abomination as an optional challenge. Yes, fiction first is great but sometimes you do need to have a lever on hand to attenuate content, whether for time or player skill. Would love to see that more like that in Shadowdark content.
One bit of critique would be make it weirder. You did a great job, but when I hear about a gilded cult being warped by a mind they can’t comprehend, I’d want to read (or see) something more. Even Deathtouch as Midas would help. If you had another page since you explicitly numbered 35 cultists, maybe add a table of names, traits, desires for them?
What a beautiful little pamphlet! Well organized and packed with evocative writing. I agree with previous commenters that this would probably work well as an interesting locale in a sandbox with little to no prep.
Love your submission! As a local POI, it works well for any sandbox/West Marches-style game. I love that it is more of a liability that needs to be dealt with eventually, and the table of “Cult Activities” drives that home over a standard encounter table!
Also, I love your illustration style. I really need to get better at architectural illustration myself, so this is inspiring. The way you laid out the keyed locales around the landscape illustration is especially wonderful. Again, I’m inspired to break out of my columns and boxes looking at your work!
High marks!
A very nice submission. I love the content of each location and the art is very evocative. I would definitely run this but I might split each location into its own hex as a personal preference to aid my (albeit limited) cognitive load.
Very picturesque visuals that contrast nicely with the horrific cult activity going on there! The Cult Activities table is a really good entry point for the PCs & I really enjoyed the intelligent monster faction play.
This is a fantastic take on the title, and the point-crawl aspect is fun too. Beautiful art, good layout, a lot to work with for a GM.
Really beautiful art and design ! I also like the inclusion of "Regional cult activities", they provide a nice entry point into the setting. Congrats !
Another gorgeous entry doing a lot with just a little text. If anything it feels like the first and last few pages of a zine that might paint a more complete and gameable picture. That being said for a GM willing to flesh out what's described here, such as interiors...or the implications of the many dozens of foes that might turn themselves on and annihilate the average party if things go sour, a brilliant little pickup.
The art is brilliant. Great job keeping the writing and theme on point, great work.
Stunning artwork! I'm jonesing to run some stuff in a tropical jungle series of sessions with my SD table. Hopefully I'll get a chance to use this!
Great job on the interior spread, really lovely art.
