Hi, I like both the lore and the gameplay. I would have enjoyed some music too though, and I could see textures mingle together / the cat have weird movements and the bird suddenly disappear sometimes. The art is nice and the water effects work well, the rat&plank is easy to navigate and their physics work pretty well :)
The bird does circles above the grocery store and sometimes flies out of the camera, The cat just jumps around the shelves but doesn't get into the water(sadly i couldn't animate it)
Yeah I've seen that but sometimes the cat kind of froze or looked shaky/laggy (on my computer at least). But your game is good ! (As confirmed by your rank in the jam heheh)

Really like the concept, i didnt realise the family rat pallet had no collision and through it lol, interesting to try to parkour on the shelves for food.
That's a pretty creative approach :D
Would be cool if you forced the player to go on foot even though it's very dangerous cause it's possible to feed your family without ever leaving your raft
I was planning to do so by having some heavier and more points giving food at the top but then i just lost motivation sadly, But thanks for the idea and your review
