game is pretty intriguing. kind of a 2010s vibe that i like. honestly i didn't do much reading on controls, but it was a bit hard to know what to do when I just hopped into the game. Showing on the screen what some of the hotkeys are would be good i think for the overall user! also just a reminder in case they don't remember everything. cool game tho!
Played the browser build through the opening corridor, jump obstacle, and first enemy encounter. Movement and jumping felt responsive once the game canvas had focus, and the interactive main menu gives the game a clear identity. On the itch page, the long jam-submission buttons overlapped the right side of the embedded game at my browser size and covered part of the first combat encounter. A fullscreen launch or adjusted page layout would help. A short in-game reminder for movement, reload, and shooting at the start would also improve onboarding. Nice foundation for a fast platform shooter.
I’ve fixed the full-screen issue, so you can take another look at the game; however, since I’m working on another project, I won’t be able to implement your other suggestions.
Thanks for the update! I’ll give it another try. I completely understand that you’re busy working on another project. Good luck with it—let’s both keep making games!

Pretty fun and difficult game! Gives old flash/kongregate vibes. It took a while to realize you have to click 1 to get your gun.
Fun, like the main character, great start screen. Look forward to more agency (crouching, bullet time, etc)
First of all, thank you for your kind comment; I am currently working on another project, but I will be releasing updates for this game as well.
