Become a Kraken and crush the whaling fleet… Just seeing this theme alone is enough to make you imagine how much fun it'll be.

And when you actually play it, the thrill far exceeds your expectations. You just can't stop playing. The controls are very simple, but there's an ultimate strategic battle lurking beneath the surface. That's exactly why it's so fun. Plus, you even get a cute BUDDY to accompany you.

It was a wonderful gaming experience. 🙂

It was a super fun game where you get to play as a kraken and go wild! One tricky part was that the enemies' attacks were the same color as the background, making them a bit hard to see.

Making the DIVE the actual button — hold to charge in the deep, release to breach up and smash the whaling fleet — is such a clean read of the theme. That "one more fathom or breach now?" tension is real; my first run I greedily rode down to 51m in the Twilight zone and the harpoons took me, which taught the risk instantly. Loved the polish too: the waterline transition, low-poly art, the "DIVE 40m TO ARM DEEP BREACH" gate, and the parry meter all feel considered for a jam build. One small onboarding note: my very first death felt a touch opaque — a clearer early cue for the incoming harpoons (or a one-time "you went too deep" beat) would help newcomers grok the push-your-luck before losing all 7 hearts. Really strong entry. (I made DEEP, a free-dive descent game for the same jam, if you want to trade a look.)

I like the idea of being the Kraken! The art work looks polished

It’s so much fun—I love it!

It makes me want to become a Kraken and destroy everything!

The enemy types change as the waves progress, so I was excited to see what kind of enemies would appear next.

I think it would be even more fun if the score rankings were shared with other players.

Also, the buddy character is both strong and cute!

Hey! I loved being a Kraken. Super cool. I struggled with getting hit. I need more games about being a deep sea monster.
