I really like the unique atmosphere and the background music.
I felt a touch of melancholy for the partner who kept getting left behind by the spaceship each time.
I was enjoying the game, but it froze after I cleared Level 4,
and I also encountered a bug where oxygen (O2) wasn't being generated when moving to Level 2.
The atmosphere is fantastic, so I look forward to future development.
Thank you, and I've been fighting with the O2 spawn since the beginning. They like to spawn outside the map, and I'm unsure why, but I will definitely keep looking into that. Thank you so much for the feedback. I'll start looking into level four as well to see why it keeps pausing
Really atmospheric take on the theme — the pitch-black trench with aigc introducing itself as a "living sonar" is a lovely BUDDY read, and the weighted, thruster-less space-glide gives the descent a genuinely distinct, floaty feel. The "you can't bring everything back up" extraction twist is a strong hook. My one honest note: the momentum makes lining up on the oxygen bubbles tricky early on (I bounced around a while at O2 0/2), so a touch more starting glide-control or a slightly larger pickup radius on the first bubble would help newcomers land that first breath before the pressure sets in. Nicely done for 72h! (I made DEEP, a dive-into-darkness entry with a light-buddy — would love your thoughts if you get a chance.)
Thank you so much. I just got off work, so I'm gonna look at everyone's now. Not gonna lie, your game intimidated me. This is my first jam, so this means a lot
Nice! I think the music really helps set the tone and is matched really well. It did get kind of tedious wandering around for a while when I couldn't find anything. Maybe an indicator that guides you to the next bubble could help or something like that. But I thought the story was really cool and all the art fit really well together!
your buddy is supposed to guide you by looking at the bubble is it not working?
I like the music and atmosphere!
It appears that this game of yours is currently set to private.
Please make sure to set your project page to public so everyone can play it. 🙂
Should be fixed, sorry about that
I confirmed that the game is now fully playable.
I really like this music—it has such a great atmosphere. It was just a shame that it stopped instead of looping.
The lonely figure of Aigc left in the final moments of Level 4 really left an impression on me.
I felt that the way the music stopped and silence lingered really helped enhance the atmosphere there.
I had a fun time. 🙂
