I've gotten both the bad and revenge endings, for the last one the description seems to point me towards just escaping no? Then why is escaping just another way to get the bad ending? I'm genuinely confused on whether it's a bug or I'm missing something

It gave me the "Escape" ending the first time but then got the bad ending bug every time afterward.

i think you can only get the escape ending the first time if you go for the revenge ending it bugs out and you will have to redo the first fight again

oh i see, any way to reliantly bypass it? Or do I just keep trying and pray it works out?

or wait until the patch that fixes it

i managed to get it by just sprinting for the door without saving after beating toriel, might have something to do with saving in general
