Fun!  Second to last level got me stuck for a bit but I managed to get through it.

Played til the end! I got stuck in the flowing water a few times but other than that it plays really good. Super polished and looks great, nice work!

This game is really cute and fun!

I absolutely suck, and took forever to get through it, but the mechanics and gameplay are really fun :) the golf gameplay was fun stuff! The ending screen when you find your wife is so cute too, lol. The 3D is awesome for such a short time window, and it looks solid!

Good job guys :)

Really really well done! Art was fantastic, and it's impressive the amount of levels you guys were able to do during the jam period (I myself wish I had time to do more). My time was around 9 minutes :)

Cool game, the visuals and control physics are great!

It was perfect. PERFECT! Everything. Down to the last minute details! This game jam is my first one and I have learnt a lot during these four days. The visuals of this game is magnificent and I definitely want to be able to do the same. Please , can you shortly explain how did you do that, or what apps did you use to draw it?

I won't speak on the modeling as it was all done by @sk but the cartoony look is mostly done in postprocessing, with an outline shader and custom cartoon material shaders. I recommend learning about shaders and how to use them if you want to go for a specific artistic style. Glad you liked the game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the compliments! I made most of the models in Blender (outside of the external assets linked in the description)

I had a lot of fun playing! I really liked the levels, but I thought level 4 was a lot harder than it needed to be, I got stuck on that level

edit: NVM I didn't know you could jump, this is a 10/10 game!

Developer

LOL glad you found the jump, it probably could've been clearer, glad you enjoyed <3

I love this game so much! It feels like a really fun take on those mini golf like games to me but with a turtle, I really enjoy the use of the shell theme with the character. Story was fun and the game was easy to figure out and I really like the music and art style a lot :-)

Really fun!
It reminds me of golf mini-games, but as a turtle!
Overall I enjoyed all the levels and was able to understand the gameplay mechanics super easily, great job!!!

Amazing style! Fun physics! Pretty cool game!

"oh my god it's mini golf"

Really really fun game. The story is really cute and made me giggle a bunch. I didn't know you could jump until the water fall level, so I was stuck on that for a bit.

The environment and map design is really cool and I love that every level has its own theming / puzzle. Really loved your game!!!

Developer

Found out about this softlock like 5 minutes after submissions closed LOL I'm glad you liked it, and impressed you made it all the way to the waterfall without jumping!!

Plays really smoothly! I liked the overall direction you took with this. Great submission. Rated it, would love your feedback on my project too!

love this game, that last level soundtrack was giving me mad Super Mario Galaxy vibes

Developer

Thank you :) Can't take credit for the music, but big shoutout to Eric Matyas on OpenGameArt.org, he has a lot of really good looping soundtracks and assets.

Dude the biggest smile spread across my face when I started playing the game and it was golf mechanics instead of the default characterbody3d script or whatever. This game is so chill and fun. And your page is absolutely beautiful, I've never seen someone modify the godot splash like that and I love the trees peeping over the edge of the game page. And the turtle narrative is so relatable, I think we're all trying to find our missing wives metaphorically speaking. Shell yeah

Developer

Thank you! We participated in other game jams and saw custom splash screens and wanted to make one for this game. I always love decorating itch pages too lol. Funny thing is our Godot project name was Shell Yeah :)

Very fun and the concept of a golf mechanic to advance the levels it's really neat! love the art your team knew how to use simplicity.

Developer

Thank you! These game jams have been really helpful practice for blender modelling :)
