This is REALLY cool…

I love the gameplay and cards focus, it makes for an interesting and fun time! As others have said, the tutorial is nice and very helpful :) the sounds fit the atmosphere of the game quite nicely, and the overall look of the game has a well-defined aesthetic!

Good stuff :)

This game is really cute and fun!

I absolutely suck, and took forever to get through it, but the mechanics and gameplay are really fun :) the golf gameplay was fun stuff! The ending screen when you find your wife is so cute too, lol. The 3D is awesome for such a short time window, and it looks solid!

Good job guys :)

Pretty sick 3D for such a short time!

The vibes are on point, and I really felt that mystery in the air while playing through! I will say, I had a hard time figuring out which npcs to talk to... initially, it was confused to figure out where to go, and I found myself wandering and fruitlessly attempting to spam E next to character models. I figured it out eventually, but if you continue development it might help to explain what to kind of do first! Despite this, however, the game ended up being really cool and I absolutely enjoyed running around and getting to experience the really awesome environment! Seconding the other commenters, it can be a little clunky in terms of controls and movements, but I really do love the general environment and art :)

Good job guys :)

The mechanics and movement are awesome!

It feels smooth to play and very intuitive in terms of controls and movement, I really enjoyed occasionally spamming space to loop through movement protocols, lol. Very fun, every time I got really far in a level I'd freak myself out and die, which built up a good tension--really fun! The visuals are fit together cleanly, and the lighting effects really elevate the look. I'm not the best at this genre of game, but I still found it incredibly easy to pick up and play, and, with a little bit of extra effort, I was able to get through it... I appreciate that it could get difficult, but wasn't harsh in difficulty... it feels well balanced overall.

You deserve more ratings, especially with how well-designed the controls and movements are! Thank you for putting the caret by the shell, it would be much harder if I was constantly glancing at the next couple moves. I did struggle to balance looking at the player versus the next move-set, but I'm not exactly sure what could help make it easier... anyway, the game plays so smoothly, really creative and fun entry!

Good work :)

The story was nice and long, and I loved the characters!

My favorite parts about this game were the narration, story, art, and character interactions! I think that the story was really fun to play through, and the art conveys a nice atmosphere... I did really enjoy how the different characters interacted and it made for a nice experience.

I have to say, kudos for being able to make the story as long as it is for the short amount of time we had! It feels super deep, and I really enjoyed going through it! My only suggestion is that it would be cool to implement something like mini puzzle games, just something to make the player feel invested in "helping" the story progress. All in all, the atmosphere and story is really great and I did quite enjoy it! I'm such a sucker for writing, good work guys.

LOVELY :)

This is really cool!

I enjoy the cute art and how interactive it is with your cursor, the sound is also quite nice on the ears! The guide is super helpful, definitely should've read it before my first attempt at playing, lol. I'm a big fan of the color scheme...

I did have trouble with constantly running out of resources, but beside my own failures the game is really quite fun :) I think what it does best is the cute art and the sound for sure! I actually really like how the thumbnail looks, again, as someone who enjoys great art, the pixel art is really well done and I had a grand time messing around.

Good work :)

This is really fun!!!!

The art and colors look really pretty and have so much charm, the animations are also superb. Seriously, the way the player is animated is really nice on the eyes, it feels so satisfying to simply run around...

The mechanics and design of the overall game are very strong, and won me over with its sheer charm! The sound is fitting and feels good too, really overall it's a well put-together and very polished game. I also managed to fall into the softlock another commenter mentioned, but besides that, the game is insanely well polished...

GOOD WORK :)

This is so cool.

I loved messing around and trying to figure out how it all worked... lol. I was a little confused at first, but getting through it??? It's so cool??? Super interesting and lovely work, but also insane that 2 minutes is even possible, I spent far too long trying to work my brain around it all LMFAO... this is really cool.

LOVE the vibe, really fun one :)

THIS IS SO COOL.

The drifty-ness of the main player feels so good, whenever you build up a momentum it feels like flying... in general, the simple controls feel really good! I found it tough at times, but in the kind of addictive way that keeps you hooked on it! Great job, I'm egg-ddicted! (That pun was bad I'm sorry for your inconvenience).

AWESOME. :)

SO????????

This is insane. The art is gorgeous, and the gameplay is so awesome... admittedly I'm really bad. But. Really fun stuff and crazy fast, found myself dying tons, but still having a blast! The measure of a good game... it's difficult, but it's really really fun. I'm so glad I got to play it.

GOOD STUFF :)

Ohhh, cool art!

I love the design of the magician, I was more concentrated on the art than the game at times (in a good way)! The narration and insurance story was entertaining and funny, and I definitely kept trying harder every time I failed just because I really wanted the next piece of the story!

I will say that I think it would help to make the text box UI opaque, as I had a hard time reading it because of interfering images in the back. The game sometimes felt a little bit cluttered, but I kind of love it at the same time... there's so much art going on and I really do enjoy the character design, lol.

I'm not too amazing as these sorts of games, so I failed quite a lot, but it was fun regardless!

The difficulty sure does ramp up pretty fast, so I'd say that my one other suggestion is to scale the difficulty a little slower :) The 5 cups were so hard for me... my eyes were all over the place, and thus I was pretty concentrated when playing! It's easy to get into the flow of the game, which is awesome, and makes it a fun play. Great character design, narration, and a very enjoyable game!

Fun stuff :)

Hey, this one is pretty cool...

I love the computer with the files, it's pretty entertaining to be looking through files scared of whether a guard will attack while searching! In general, the game looks quite good, especially for 3D in such a short window. The models are nice, I especially like the title screen.

The camera movements feel nice and smooth, however when hovering to click the back button on the computer I had to keep retrying because the camera would zoom out right as I got close to clicking the button. Also, when shooting, I had a hard time aiming because it felt like none of my shots would do damage despite seemingly hitting the enemies. I think it could help to make it a little more clear where the reticle is. I was relying on my cursor, but it doesn't quite feel right to me. Regardless of this, I do really like the camera movements in general... the game feels really fun!

That's the best part, it simply feels fun. I genuinely enjoyed messing around, and the premise is pretty cool! Definitely reminds me of FNAF in a way, cool stuff! It's a little tough, but fun...

Good work, enjoyed this one lots :)

Very smooth, and runs without any problems at all!

My favorite bit of the game is the gorgeous lighting for sure. The flying, green glowing particles look really cool on the screen, as does the light function. I will say I was confused as to how the light function worked at first, for some reason I initially thought it was pinging shells I hadn't uncovered yet... I'm pretty sure this is a me-issue though, lol. I also loved the glow-y look of the shells, pretty stuff!

The player's movements feel so smooth and well-built, and I enjoyed running around a lot because of how smooth it all felt! The jump is my favorite, it's so so so smooth and slightly slowed, which helped make it feel properly underwater!

To be honest I quite liked how dark it got, even if disorienting, because it feels like the point of this game is to be a little disorienting. Like you have to go out of your way to dispel the darkness with the light feature. Otherwise, it'd be far too easy to find the shells.

Overall, I have to say that the controls are smooth, and the lighting is beautiful!!! Really enjoy the look you guys went for.

Awesome platformer :)

I like really really enjoyed this, guys!

I'm a sucker for characters, art, and writing--this game hit every nail on the head for me oh my gosh. This is genuinely my favorite entry so far, the art is peak, the music is peak, the characters are adorable (I really love Convo...). The characters have very human struggles and feel pretty relatable, the game runs perfectly smooth with no problems, and the theming is well thought out for sure!

Maybe I just have a soft spot for well-illustrated visual novels... but I really enjoyed this one, lol.

I'd say if you continue development: it could be cool to somehow have Convo and Paint interact, and build relationships between everyone in the game. That's the only thing that felt a little "missed," the interactions were all centered around the player as opposed to developing character interactions... but that's also a much wider scope, lol. Seriously, this is pretty great, especially for such minimal time!

I love this one a looooot :)

I really enjoyed the visuals for this game, I found that I wished I could run around as the main character sprite more than the enemies because it was so bright and cute!

My favorite part about the game was the art, for sure. I found myself almost yearning for the tutorial text to be in the same style because the art style is so good, I love the theming and the game looks very cohesive to me! I really loved the blue, black, and gray color scheme. The one thing that I think would look really cool in terms of colors is to add a pop of red or orange, something warm, as an accent color to break up the monotone look. I do love the monotone color scheme, but just a touch of a bright warm color would make the colors look even more delectable together! The music is very fitting and feels "right" for the game, building a little bit of tension in all the right ways!

I did have issues with clipping: once I clipped while I was standing at the edge of the map and an enemy shot me. My guess is that the impact from the bullet somehow pushed my character outside of the bounds of the map, which allowed me to run around in the void for a little while, lol. In addition, I did have an instance where some enemies would tweak out and get stuck on a wall while trying to track my player.

In terms of the controls, the possession mechanic is really cool and I enjoyed it quite a bit! Shooting as the enemies felt clean and easy, and I had quite a bit of fun running around and dodging projectiles. Intuitive controls and super easy to pick up, good work guys! The sprite of the main player is adorable for real!

Good stuff :)

My first thought was that this game was really cute and well themed!

The music is cute and playful which I really enjoyed, and it ties in very well with the theming of the game and art :) I did, however, have a problem where the music failed to loop after the first approx. 30 seconds of playtime. My single most favorite part of this game is the happy expression for when you're done with a character, something about how smiley the characters look is so contagious :))) I kept finding myself grinning whenever I was done with them!

I really like how there were conditions for the color of sticker each character wanted, I found it fun and like how it constrained your ability to appease every character. I do think it would be really cool if it was harder to make ever customer happy, as I think that would make players more likely to think longer and use more tact in their styling activities!

When cleaning shells, I find that in at least one sprite some of the grime was sightly off of the shell in a way that made it hard to see where the grime was against the background. I think that having a little outline in a bright color around the edges of the grime could make it easier to see if any problem arises where the grime isn't quite fully on the shell. Another suggestion for shell cleaning is that a circular reticle around the cursor could really help. I found myself kind of guessing how much grime would be removed in every click, and if there was an indicator or reticle it would've been easier to place the cursor.

I found myself most enjoying the shop box lottery! It was a fun little treat at the end of a day to be able to open a box and get cute decor, although if you had more time I think it would've been really cool to see even more than shells, hats, and stickers! That leads me to the point that the gameplay is fun, but gets repetitive after a couple days, although for the time we had allotted I do truly think that this game is pretty well put together. All in all, I didn't find many bugs and the theme was well put together!

Cute little game :)

As another commenter said, this game is incredibly charming. The dialogue and story behind the game kept me quite invested, and was really fun to read... and I just love the personality behind the narrator! The dialogue did occasionally zoom by which made it hard to read it all, but to be honest I could've been accidentally clicking through it while building. Regardless, in my opinion, the story and dialogue is what this game does best. I love that the narrator oozes personality :)

In regards to the gameplay, I found it pretty entertaining overall! However, it took me a bit to figure out what exactly was going on initially. I think that a short tutorial may have helped, however, I think that if you simply add titles to the different buildings in the cost drop-downs it may not even need a tutorial! The building mechanics are very intuitive, but if there was a word like "Factory," or "Storage," under those respective buildings it would be much easier to pick up and more intuitive overall. Regardless, I really enjoy how the game plays and the way in which structures could affect the type of currency (like how the fire summoning circle made fire shells).

I'm a big fan of the use of shotgun shells to tie into the theme! The fact that the setting is within a shotgun is truly very interesting and piqued my interest while looking at the cover image, it just really elevates the way you think about the game's setting. Also, I love how well the sound aptly fits into the theme, it's grungy and gritty in a way that screams factory. That goes for both the sound effects and the music!

Overall, I found that the story, idea, and atmosphere were all splendidly done. If the game is updated so that it is more clear what to do initially, I believe it'll improve even more. With some more time, this game could absolutely blossom, and I have no doubts about that! Keep up your writing and narrative ability, the sheer dialogue is what kept me hooked most. Did I mention that the dialogue is really charming and I like it?

Great work :)
