How does your game fit the theme?
the answer to 1 divided by 0 equals a singularity. so the calculator turns into a blackhole which is also a singularity. and you gotta escape the singularity realm. and things stop working like stationary spikes not following laws and moving around without explaination.

What Game Engine did you use to make this game?
godot 4.1

The game looks really cool! The fact that it's so difficult actually makes it kind of fun, and the levels are really varied and creative. It could be a little easier, though.

Ok this is one of the best graphics of the jam

HOWEVER the game is way too hard, like even if it's supposed to be hard it's to hard, that's partially due to the controls being janky but also to the hurtbox being too big

The platforming is nice but i can't have fun when the game is hard like that

also peak celeste reference with those dream blocks

The control is definitely for left handed person. My brain cannot use that kind of keyboard mapping. I rather have the traditional WASD. Overall very good art and music. Love it.

it was overall pretty good although the controls are pretty janky and unforgiving, like for example the dash you have to time it exactly so that you press the arrow BEFORE space and you kind of have to have pretty pixel perfect precision

the core gameplay loop is difficult (I mean that's a good thing! since clearly you took inspirations from celeste)

however the movement is...very snappy and also quite janky (I can't dash through these black walls UNLESS I dashed from the air?) like I can't translate what I want to do to the game

the music and sounds could use a lot of work, for example when I die (which I do a lot lol) the music resets! I suppose this is happening because you are using get_tree().reload_current_scene() every time I die? which resets the audio_player node, there are a lot of workarounds for this so I hope you invest the time into considering a solution

aside from these issues....that's a very solid game! amazing work

This games so hard... Really loved the pixel art, the stains on walls looks great. Some mechanics not close to easy to pull of, but a few attempts will do it. Love it!

Okay, so heres the full breakdown.

The Theme:

The theme matches pretty good.

The Fun:

It was fun, but i got stuck which made me little unfun.

Art:

Nice art i liked the levels art on it and intro was good on art.

Sound:

The music is good on levels, but one thing is that on intro doesn’t have sound effects on intro tho.

The Problem:

The problem is that i got stuck on a level, where it was showing the control shift to dash, but i didn’t get up there and i got stuck.

Overall:

Nice game, but i did get stuck on a level and the art was good. Good Job! 👍

Feedback:

Maybe add in intro add some sound effects to it.

And maybe make it, where i can get up easier.

Thanks. Tbh, i did ask blight in the last hour if i can use one of his songs for the music so that's why it only has one song, lol. Tbf, the game is a bit hard and i tried to give you a couple ways to get up in each level but i will Keep that in mind for next time. I will check your out soon :3
