it wasn't "a quirky platmormer jam entry", it was THE quirky platformer jam entry. The art style is very cute, loved it. The platformer experience is very well tuned, although it made me realize a sad thing abt my general gaming skills outside of genre specialization. My abilities are abt on par with those of a game journalist I think xD
While I didnt win, I did progress pretty far I think, even passed a chekpoint (!!!). That's not the fault of gameplay btw, this is definitely easier than some of those tiny toon games I played in my childhood. The music was pretty nice, sorta hotel lounge experience with a cute demon. The poilish is out of this world, genuinely didnt see anything wrong. Well, some hitboxes were kinda annoying but I'm pretty sure that was by design to make the game a bit harder. Great entry overall!
