Very unique gameplay. It's like maze mixed with a top down platformer with click controls. I've never really played anything like it. My finger did get a little sore from rapidly clicking, but maybe if that was mapped to a different button. Actually, as I write this, it occurs to me that this could be a rhythm game of sorts with movement mapped to multiple buttons. Not directionally, but like a patter you follow. Or maybe like that old flash game QWOP. Might be interesting. I think this one's got potential if you decide to keep working on it. Thanks for making and sharing it :)
This game is creative, a very intresting way to see the theme
I feel that if the game also had a guiding system for direction, like the dev below said, it would make the enemies more engaging, but I enjoyed it, and I can say I win.![]()
Definitely this entry has potential, it’s linked with the theme and good idea. if the art, sound and some work with collisions is done(maybe reducing their size a bit and give more opportunities to escape from the hands), this probably will be a great game.
Thanks for the feedback! You need a hard object, like a pen and bash it on the mouse to escape the hands.
Very fun concept! Might be nice to have some sort of item you can pick up along the way to push enemies aside temporarily. On the other hand, if you know what each enemy does you can kind of use it to your advantage. Great entry!
Thanks for the feedback! I planned to put items (speed up, push enemy, weight up, ect) but I was too lazy for that.
While I think this game could do with more audio tracks, more visual fidelity, and clearer goal setting early on, I actually think the core gameplay mechanic is quite interesting and has a lot of potential (that I see you explore with the different enemies, such as the hand that slows you down and the virus [?] that pushes you, alongside the box that you can push). I think this movement mechanic could be very interesting in a small setting or with a bigger jump, but at the moment it does hurt my hand. Great effort!
Thanks for playing! I meant to make an atmospheric abstract adventure game, but I got lazy as I made the level and kinda quit on it. I used a engine of hitboxes that sink into each other and push in proportion to the weight.
