A great puzzle, really made me think! And the idea fits the theme nicely, creative that you have to "turn on the dark" Instead of the light. The art is simple but nice, i really like this color combo. The soundeffects and slow music are great too, made me a little sleepy even :]

I also want to mention transition and restart animations - those are very satisfying!

Thanks for noticing the art and sound (pitch=0.5 ftw), we're beginners in those so appreciate the encouragement!

I think it would be cool if there was an undo button. But anyway, it's a pretty good puzzle!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! An undo button would be great lmao

Nice concept and mechanics! There are just the right amount of cues to pick up what to do very quickly. Art style and mechanics remind me a bit of Pokemon gym puzzles so it felt nostalgic

Developer

Thanks for the kind comment, Iโ€™m glad it was quick to pick up! These types of moving block puzzles generally fall under the genre of sokoban in case you wanted to learn more!

cool game and cool main mechanic with the darkness spreading!

Cool game! The puzzles were at a good difficulty and the darkness spread made the order something I need to think about. That last level took me a few tries to figure out was really satisfying when I got it. Good work!

Developer

Thank you! I had a fun time designing that last level so I'm glad you got that sense of accomplishment too

Nice little sequence puzzle you got here. Was fun to figure out which box needed to go on which spot and in what order I needed to push them. The movement was a tad clunky, but I know you had to make it grid-based for the puzzles to work. Maybe just make the movement faster so it feels a little more responsive? It's a nitpick and would take a lot of tweaking, but overall I thought the game was really cool! Well done :)

Developer

That's a good suggestion, ty! It's currently on the same movement system as the blocks so it's clunkier than it should be.

Amazing game, the movement could have been better but I guess making it grid based is good for the game stuff. great puzzle game

Developer(+1)

The player was originally not on the same grid system and that added some frustration, def could tune the movement. Ty for playing!

tysm for having fun with it!

Really enjoyed the gameplay, quite interesting to strategize which box to start with. I wished you had done something with the font to compliment the game, but either way everything works as intended, good job!

Developer

After playing your game, I agree, something simple like the font really adds a lot!
