Love the palette swap. The mood of this game is hypnotizing in a great way. I love the sprites for the sheep, and appreciate the very creative map ideas all throughout.

ya, wish i thought of this when all my friends where shouting 'dream sequence' during brainstorming. ya this idea is fantastic, i expect this to be a top rated pick. my biggest complaint is that the floor and the void out zones look the same, even with teh dotted line it was hard to tell what was killing me early when i was dying, i stacked boxes right up to teh puddle in level 1 becasue i kept clipping the void out zone. its hard to tell what the range of teh roombas are without trail and error (in level 4 they bounced in 1 square without any apparent walls) and i find i had to peck at my movement keys to get boxes adjusted one square away, maybe another pass on hit detection but that might just be me being salty.

Amazing work and beautiful artstyle. Puzzle design is great!

Phew, I did it finally. I didn’t realize you can pick up roombas until 2nd last level. I had to be very careful about hitboxes though. Sometimes I would be safe even though I think I fell, and sometimes I’ll die to laundry though I think I’m fine.

Nice puzzle game.

Good puzzle, it was nice to have more than one ways to solve a puzzle, none of the levels were that much challenging. The only difficult things were placing an object and landing on a platform. My character seemed to be on the platform, away from the edges by 10 pixels, but somehow it considered falling.

Thanks for checking it out! Yes I wanted to make sure the levels had a few ways to solved and not too hard. That has been the number one complaint about my games in the past. I haven't run into anytimes where you die while on the platforms. Do you remember if it was at the top or bottom of a platform?

Awesome game! I really loved the puzzles, the visuals, the sounds. Overall, everything is top-notch! Great job!

The idea is great and I think it could be expanded much more. I would love if the game was more on the puzzle and less on the platforming side, but it's a fair game design choce. Art and polish are amazing, the game looks and feel super cool, so good job!

This was really fun and such a great idea! It was very enjoyable figuring out how to set things up for the dreams and also that it didnt reset if you failed! Really nice art and music too! Really great job! (:

I like the concept! this was fun. I found the hitboxes/collision boxes to be quite frustrating at times though. It wasn't clear when I would die from falling off versus not. Fun regardless though! nice job

Developer

Thanks! I'm sorry the hitboxes were frustrating, they can be a little finnicky at times, especially the roomba. I originally had the collision shapes the same size as the sprites, but I found that to be too hard because the sprites are 16x16, and the player is 16x16 so you had to be really precise with the jumps. And I couldn't have the sprites be too big because then you have these enormous roombas driving around. And then I tried the real objects being 16x16, but then the platforms sprite larger, but then I ran into the level looking different than I wanted after placing the items down. Lots of trial an error when making that.

Yeah makes sense! It's hard to tune that stuff. Really fun though anyway! I was still compelled to finish. I think the concept of building your platforming level to get through is really cool. I think you could go in a lot of interesting directions with something like this!

Gorgeous and interesting and clever puzzles, level 3 blew my brains out though. If I was to offer any critical feedback it would be looking to see how you reward the user for completing the level, some form of positive feedback loop, but its a limited time game jam and what you have acheived is nothing short of amazing. All in all, huge respect to your abilities, really good!

Thanks for the kind words! Yes my original plan was to have a total sheep collected / total sheep in the game to give you some kind of feeling of meta progression through the game, but I just didn't have the time. Unfortunately I lost my whole weekend and wasn't able to work on it.

Beautifully made, and very clever puzzle design!
