Really great short story. The visuals are really lovely accompaniment to the detailed writing. I found myself very charmed by both the collage work and illustration, it all felt very economically/smartly applied.

The writing itself feels very personal and specific in the best way, even with an essentially anonymized narrator. I think a little of that is due to the really gestural illustration, but also because the writing shows "only" what needs said for this particular vignette into her life.

There were a couple points where the audio wasn't doing it for me (the more diagetic approaches in the beginning with all the shuffley sounds, one or two of the track choices). I wanted more of those snappy twig sounds!

I found the Sun ending a lot more compellingly done than the Rot ending, to the point that the choice felt kind of "eh" or less impactful to me in hindsight. Didn't pull me out of my enjoyment, just felt like Sun had a lot more meat put on it. Maybe I just like happier endings.

waaa thank you for the kind words n feedback bug!! first time trying a lot of this stuff so the critique is super appreciated
(takes notes) next project i break more celery

ok i wasnt 100% sure how much of this was a first-time thing so i didnt put it in the initial comment, but i did think while playing "this is crazy tight for a first stab"!

i look forward to the next one! ^^

sun end is definitely the true end in my mind and it's the one where i had Something To Say, so i can definitely see where rot would not hit as well. still i am glad you enjoyed it overall, your words mean a lot to me!!

that was kind of the vibe i got! Rot just felt very Only Possible Outcome of that choice, while Sun has a little more room to surprise the reader...which i guess says something about what those choices represent, in its own way. :^) appreciate the insight, fun to know the "meta"
