Really cool game, took a few L's to get the hang of it :)

Oldschool.   I can see this in an actual arcade.   Gonna challenge my friends with this game.

Daaaaaammmm!!! This background! I loooove old-school parallax like this; I love the vibe. Really, the graphics are great! And yeah, you could use some downtime between deaths because you can get a bit of soft-locked dying a few times in a row. But viiiiibe is awesome!

I'm really bad at this game but it was fun to play! :D

some seconds of invulnerability when you spawn could be cool, sometimes i would spawn and insta-die because a random bullet happened to be there already. also something to make them more visible would help.

the graphics, specially the background look really good!

the game just stops when you are at -1 lives and the music keeps playing, not sure if that is intended or it just "end game" and i didn't wait enough.

Wow, someone actually played it! Haha.

I wish I’d made nicer menus, a game-over screen, and a full level—sorry, this is my second game jam game—but I plan to keep working on it. Thanks for trying out the prototype!
