Ai art 👎

(+4)(-1)

The latest scenes and models are hand-drawn - although inspired by AI, but at least I don't hide anything

(+2)(-1)

I looked through the game, there is no mention of use of AI that is clearly seen by the average player.

You also seem to be selling the gallery through Patreon, which is another can of worms that Rouxls Kaard wouldn't even touch.

Use the platform's features as intended and don't go looking for problems where there aren't any. No one in their right mind would put AI disclaimers inside the game itself; that is done on the distribution platform, in the specific, standardized way the platform requires.

"Not hiding anything" while relying on a menu that almost no one sees when looking at a game

(+1)(-1)

I forgot that if I do everything according to the platform's requirements, I'm deceiving people and hiding something. If we're addressing the issue this way, even if I included information about AI in the description, the response would be, "People don't read descriptions." Personally, when I have doubts about graphics, whether on Steam or Itch.io, I always look at the relevant sections.

People have no idea how much work making a game takes. Complain is easy. People should be happy that more ideas can be turned into games thanks to AI. I came here for a story ^_^

Annnnnnd YOU'RE the reason RAM prices are insanely high, tons of towns are suffering, and people are dying.

While yes, complaining is easy, and not many people can do things on their own, that doesn't mean that using AI is the right path, there are professionals and courses to make your own assets and your own work. Generative AI has been confirmed to scrape images/text from sources that do not consent at all, meaning using Generative AI technically counts of plagiarism, along with the fact that it makes the art look shitty.

While the story could be good, most people wouldn't even give it a chance because of the AI art, having AI is generally a negative thing to be associated with, almost everyone would just take one look, and move on thinking it's just a shitty game, and the 5% that stay and look are just horny idiots who are probably married/divorced.

And the bad English really doesn't help your case.

The problems you listed aren't caused by ordinary people using AI, but by the massive corporations that are developing and heavily funding it to win the technology war. AI will become just another tool-provided the right people want it to-and there’s nothing we can do about that. I doubt I waste even a liter of water running local models on my own computer, unless I happen to get thirsty while doing so. And believe me, the professionals you mentioned use AI, because to become a professional, you have to be able to adapt-they just stay silent about AI to please others.
