Thanks for the kind words! Yeah, I'm hoping to build this out with a few more pages for more description and more story. My idea was that the wizard had almost enough magic stored up to rise and then the mother started draining it, so he spent his reserves on possessing a monkey before she drained him entirely. He's philosophical about it; you win some, you lose some. At least he'll get some banana time once the mother is dealt with....
