This game was mostly built for practice with coding and to keep busy while I look for a new job after a layoff. We didn't take it particularly seriously, but we did try our best with the time and effort we could comit to. Thank you to the organizers!

The idea is good, but I think it would be much better with some visuals or animations. I was playing, but I didn’t really understand what was happening, haha. I didn’t know when I was supposed to defend or attack, or what I was supposed to do in general.

But the idea is good! Keep it up!

If you want to clearly raise the concern about rating manipulation, I’d phrase it strongly but make it clear that you're reporting a suspicion rather than stating unproven cheating as a fact:

🚨 WARNING TO THE ORGANIZERS — PLEASE REVIEW THIS SUBMISSION

Honestly, I don't think this game is suitable for this jam. The connection to STARGAZING feels extremely weak, and the actual gameplay doesn't seem to use the theme in a meaningful way.

The game also describes itself as very scuffed and potentially impossible to win without exploiting the enemy AI, which makes me question why it was submitted in this state.

More importantly, this kind of submission makes me concerned about the integrity of the jam ratings. It feels like games can be submitted mainly to participate in the rating process and potentially receive higher ratings through other participants, even when the game doesn't properly meet the jam's requirements.

I'm not saying I have proof that the developers are intentionally cheating or manipulating ratings, but I strongly recommend that the organizers review this submission and its rating activity to make sure there isn't any abuse of the rating system.

⚠️ Organizers, please take a closer look at submissions like this and make sure they meet the jam's theme and quality requirements.

Highly not recommended from me. The game needs much more work and, most importantly, a much stronger connection to the jam theme.

It reminds me of those kinds of games where you can’t see anything, but you still have to control the game and get feedback from your actions. I really like the concept! I think there might be a bug, though, because at some point while I was playing, the screen turned completely blank.

Kinda shame there is no web version :(
