Omg this was so fun!!! Ik it's only a demo so far, but I could really see myself playing all the way to the end. The art is lovely, esp the variation in character design and the overall goth-y aesthetic. I particularly liked the dialogue; I found myself wanting to know more about each of them, which is a really hard thing to achieve in such a short time frame! I did find that sometimes the icing showed up before the cake (specifically the yellow-ish icing and the clear icing), though there was nothing game-breaking. The theme of layers is clearly shown in both the gameplay and the story itself, which showed a lot of thought into theme implementation. Overall though, I think this was a really cool entry!
