This was an interesting and fun game! This was a cool use of the theme and I really liked the concept, the UI looked great and the music and sound effects were also quite good! Great game!

An interesting idea, and good view of the theme, i most admit, this should be hard or long to code, damn, but really good effort and really good game at the end, very good entry, i love the game and complete it x3 ā„ ā„
Wow! This game must've taken a long time to code and write! We are very impressed at all the content and the unique quests. This is definitely a very well-done game! The aesthetics were very pleasing. We were also very impressed that you submitted this a whole week early haha! You have amazing time management skills. Well done!
It was a fun game to play! The visuals and sound are good. I think it would be even better if there were some small animations showing the heroes or creatures carrying out their missions. Adding more details about each mission would also help.
In the future, you could also give each character their own face or unique appearance. I think that would give the game much more personality.
I didnāt really see the connection to the theme, though. Overall, great idea keep it up!
Thanks! All the ideas youāve proposed are very good, but I had about a week to develop the main system (and had to program in the gaps between family and work), so the details and animations related to the emissaries remained just an idea on the to-do list. For the theme, I chose a less literal interpretation, as suggested in the theme description. It was a risk⦠and often my choices didnāt pay off.
I REALLY LIKE THE COLOUR THEME YOU USED HERE!
The whole gods, champions and emissaries concept is a really creative interpretation of STARGAZING. I like that you connected āstarsā with fame, talent and becoming a champion instead of just putting stars in the sky. That made the theme feel much more intentional. šāØ
The medieval/fantasy visual style is also really nice, and I especially liked the brown/earthy color palette. The UI feels consistent and gives the game its own identity. š¤
The management gameplay took me a little while to understand, but once it clicked, the recruit ā assign ā level up ā create champions loop was pretty interesting. One thing I'd improve is the 15-second recruitment refresh — a manual refresh button would give players more control and make it easier to actually read and compare candidates.
Some of the text could also be a little easier to read, but overall this is a really creative and polished jam entry.š
And if you have some free time, PLEASE play my game too and leave me a review! šā¤ļø I'd really love to hear what you think.
GG and good luck! š
It took me some time to understand the gameplay but it was quite fun after i understood. One problem I faced is while doing recruitment it gets refreshed every few seconds. It would be better to just show them all at once or refresh it manually. UI felt really satisfying and polished. Great game overall :)
Gameplay 4/5 - I thought it was really interesting! It's definitely a lot of reading but I don't consider that a bad thing. My one big complaint is 15 seconds isn't a lot of time to read all the info and make good decisions about which gods need attention and which workers need leveling up.
Creativity 3/5 - It's a fun take on the management sim game.
Art Style 5/5 - The art style looked great and was very consistent. Plenty of juice in the buttons.
Audio 3/5 - The BGM is nice and the sounds are good, nothing really standout.
Theme 2/5 - There are gods but not really stars or constellations...
Thank you for your detailed review! I know I didnāt interpret the theme āstargazingā literally, but the gameās idea came to me while reading the description: āThe theme does not have to involve literal stars. Stargazing can also mean seeking fame, discovering talentā⦠=) I knew it would be a bit of a gamble to go for a more metaphorical interpretation, but in the end, what matters is the fun part! =D
I really like the medieval/fantasy visual style! The UI feels consistent and polished. Some text could be a bit easier to read, but overall, great job!
