Cool idea and great intro! I found the controls quite difficult.
Congratulations on completing the game!
I adore the intro animations and the idea of the game is wonderful — who doesn't love an armored armadillo spinnin' around? Unfortunately I wasn't able to really figure out the controls with keyboard. I'm still not quite certain how I defeated the enemies in the first room — I was dropping the blast particles directly onto one guy and nothing happened, then while I was spinning around at the other end of the room suddenly the hatch was opened — and I could only manage to break the power box on the bottom, not the one at the top, in the next room. Couldn't figure out how to aim the blast particles without, presumably, a controller. I kept reaching for, like, WASD to move Dillon, Space to blast, arrow keys to aim the blast.
Still — you finished a game and that's something! Well done.
I like the idea, but it's often confusing and not really clear what your supposed to do. Like in the second room where you had to open a door, I felt like I couldn't do anything else. It seems that I somehow had to attack the bouncers around the exit to open it, but I still don't really understand what's happening there, as I had to try it many times to make it work. Also why should you even know that your supposed to attack a bouncer? The next thing was the bossfight, where it sometimes felt kinda random if the boss gets damage or the player. But the moment I had to quit playing was in the lava level; the colliders of the bridge simply didn't match what you see! And the turn to the right felt nearly impossible to achieve, as the armadillon just won't stop moving. The one time I actually managed to get across the bridge, I ended up not finding the exit and finally fall down into the lava again. Hope I'm not being too harsh here, and there's also good in the game, like the cute armadillon sprites/animations and the concept itself. It just can be hard to play at times.
I really like the idea! I couldn't fully figure it out on keyboard though. Has a lot of potential.
Fun concept, but very hard to control! I could only really control the player if I used a controller, but it was super fun to go fast! That damn lava bridge XD
I really wanted to like this one, but after struggling a bit in the second level, it crapped out and dumped thousands of these in the console:
Huh. Looks like it's an issue with the health bar being less than zero. I'll have to take a look at that one!
Armadill-DON'T miss out on the action-packed adventure!!!
This will make armadillion dollars
The budget was high for this one... lmao
