I never said such language, if you actually bothered checking the user that posted it (neromishi, found because of my search history on the user). It wasn't me. I did replied below it saying "I dont condone such language, but they do have a point on one thing" which was you exploiting others (I know you read it since you deleted it).

Also stating within that gumroad email "The final version of the KC is now here on Itch" and seeing it was just sliders felt like a cash grab and taking advantage of gumroad's purge and just throwing V1/V2 owners under the bus for something that should've been added onto it in the first place, then being radio silent about it for a year (presuming it was "The Final Version"). Not to mention, in 2023 being the same thing which was believed to be abandoned or the final version for a little over a year until V3 was emailed (Same thing with V1, but was a free update when V2 rolled around and added quality of life updates and additional addons which is how it should've gone). And knowing the TOS of gumroad, I know why you simply couldn't update the listing even if you deleted it since any updates would've been reviewed under their new TOS. Also, gumroad users didn't get the email until June 2025 and expired on Oct 2025, which is not "after one year."

Additionally, you were verifying emails as said within your email to existing owners saying "use the same email you used for Gumroad so ownership can be verified" meant you had full control of how codes were handed out and monitored. Feel like a 1 time use redeem link/code for allowing existing owners 100% off so they can be grandfathered onto itch or just generating those 1 time links and sending them individually to owners should've been the way to go (and before you say "To protect against people who file share without the other party owning it." If they already own it and were malicious enough to forward that link to someone else. They can just as easily redeem it then send those files to non owners).

And if you "considered options" about existing owners who missed that window, then what about the people who already paid then? Or now are they just out of their money to? This is how you lose loyalty to repeat customers. Which is something you should know very well on. And lets give a scenario if you need it, say I purchased V1. Paid 20 USD. Then V3 comes around having to pay an additional 10 to 20 USD for small addons. But now lets be a new buyer. Only has to pay the original 20 USD. Who loses out the most? The original buyer or the new buyer?
