I didn't understand the gist of the question from ughjenkins, which final boss are we talking about? In CS or GT? What kind of consequence are we talking about? Are there multiple endings in CS? I thought the game was straightforward. And how did I understand that cologne /perfume /the smell of hyenas is a new way of hypnosis for Mezz?

Remember, outside of the one designated thread, this is the GT forum. He's talking about the final boss for GT. And you'll have to find out the details when/if you play through, I won't spoil them ahead of time.

I'm interested anyway, and I'm not really afraid of spoilers, but if you think so, then I won't try to persuade you. But I didn't get an answer to the question about the endings in the first chapter, I know that there are two variations of the final ending, but will this somehow affect the second chapter?

In terms of effects on future chapters, only endings where Mezz survives and escapes count. So in terms of effecting GT, you can either defeat Diezel with less than 2 losses to the mob enemies, or defeat him with 2 or more: one triggers the boars in GT, the other doesn't.
