Turns out I had a massive issue with my GPUParticles - I was using some simple meshes like spheres, but far too many segments. I tuned that down and went from 11M primitives in the frame to ~600k (~95% reduction). Hopefully that makes things much smoother!
Nice concept! Though yeah I think I had a hard time in browser but great variety with the limitation especially when you get to choose your car too and fun mechanics. Great work!
cool work, but i cant really play it on my browser, the game freezes and throws the timing off, in a single race it froze 4 times, for more than 1s each freeze, and it registers clicks when its frozen.
Sorry to hear that! I wonder if the crt shader is throwing it off. Can’t say I had any stutters on my laptop, desktop, or 2 different phones! Sorry, tried to make things lean enough for a wide variety of devices.
You said this is your first 3D game and honestly that's stupidly impressive.
It plays and looks great, fun usage of the limitation and the racing aspect is obviously exciting even if it's a short race.
