I really don't know what the strategy is. I've been restarting the game so I can do some trial-and-error to find out what works, but some in-game guidance would be appreciated.

It's a bit too slow-paced for me. Most of these jame games I'm playing during short breaks from work. This one I'm letting run in the background, but even when I come back to it, I find the cash is coming in too slow so I still have nothing to do.

Hi! I would make sure that you are putting bathrooms next to your tents, and upgrading your buildings by right-clicking them (bringing up a menu). This menu also includes statistics such as whether the building has a bathroom close enough to it, its desirability, and more.

I'd like to especially emphasize the importance of accessible bathrooms. Once you get your first few tents down with a bathroom next to them, your money very quickly increases, allowing you to upgrade and buy new buildings, increasing your money at an even faster rate.

I'm hopeful you could give suggestions on how to make things more clear, if you're able to spare the time. I'm not really sure what to do, since the right-click menu (which you can learn about in the controls menu) pretty much shows everything that's important to get money quick.

Yeah I assumed the bathrooms needed to be far away from the tents (who'd want to sleep next to that smell?) and I didn't consider right-clicking the buildings at all. It's best if players can learn your controls/mechanics intuitively rather than relying on menus or reading instructions.

Also, nothing happens if you left-click the buildings, correct? So right-clicking might be necessary.  I think stats would be better in a popup tooltip when you hover without clicking, and then clicking could bring up an upgrade menu.
