Themes
"You're Not Allowed To Win" — COMET is endless with a single life, so you can only chase a higher score, never truly win. It leans on a graze risk/reward loop: the closer you skim debris without dying, the higher your combo.

Tooling
Hand-written HTML5 + Canvas (no engine). A 64x64 internal canvas scaled up with image-rendering: pixelated. WebAudio for blips. Deployed as a static site.

The core mechanic here is interesting, and there's some fun to be had. The breaking of the 64x64 limitation is unfortunate, and the visual/presentational style unfortunately reads as vibe coded, regardless of whether it was or not. Nice fun little game though!

Really cool example of simple but challenging to master. Makes you want to try one more time because you're sure you can do better this time around :)

that graze mechanic completely changes the gameplay. it creates a lot more tension that might lead to mistakes; what a smart addition to the project! it's enjoyable and i played it for quite a while. great job!

Thank you — that's exactly the loop I was hoping would land! The graze band is deliberately close enough that greed gets punished, so every near-miss is a tiny gamble. Really happy it kept you playing for a while. Thanks for taking the time to rate and comment!

Simple idea, simple graphics, simple gameplay. Works when putting all those simple things together. Too bad the menu and end score break the resolution ;) Nice job.

Ha, a fair hit — you're right that the menu and score overlay step outside the 64×64 play field. I made a deliberate trade-off to keep the HUD readable (a true 64px score number would swallow the screen), but I hear you that it bends the low-rez purity. Glad the core still clicked for you, and thanks for the honest, constructive note!

That graze mechanic is cool… gg!

Thanks, Geekwagon! The graze was the whole gamble I built the game around, so I'm glad it landed. gg to you too — appreciate you playing and rating!

What a fun and addicting game.

"Fun and addicting" is the best thing I could hope to hear — thank you! If you ever get the itch for one more run, the daily challenge gives everyone the same debris field to chase a high score on. Thanks for playing and rating!
