I'm kinda scared this is my first game jam and i still suck with godot (my game engine of choice)
I'm thinking i should leave the jam
Stay in it, game jams are actually a great way to practice, they can help you learn coding concepts, actually finish things, and there's not much pressure.
I bet you could look around the forum and see plenty of others who are the same way, or look though the last jam and see a ton of new people making their own entries.
And even if you don't finish in time or it doesn't perform well, like the jam description says, you can't really ask for a better way to practice.
The absolute worst that can happen is that you get last place. Not. Jams aren't about placements but about learning, connecting, and having fun. If at the end of the game jam, you accidentally delete all your progress, you walk away with more experience than half of humans. There is no pressure. You could even just use the jam as a light post; you don't need to post your game. Don't worry whether you decide to submit a game or not :3
