Nice demake, rolling would have been nice

865 meters was my highest. You know what's weird, I had no idea anything was happening in the background until I finished and then saw your gif again, I was that concentrated on watching for obstacles, haha.

Didn't know Canabalt, but playing your game, I can totally see the appeal.

Really enjoyed playing it. Far more rounds than anticipated, so that's a good sign =)

Satisfying gameplay, makes me want to play over and over again, which i did :)

The extra visual touches are great, like the birds that take off. Only thing that bugged me was the music’s percussion. Would have toned that down some. Great work overall!

Thanks, I'm just really bad at music. That's why I made it possible to turn it off in the main menu.

Very nice and simple!  I might have made the player a bit smaller and added a slow-mo button to give the player more time to react to jumps as they appear.  As it is, it's very hard to react to anything, but definitely a big limitation of making an endless runner in a square.  The art all looks great, the music seems well composed, but the instrumentation is harsh on the ears.  Nice work overall!

Fun gameplay, nice visuals, what more could you want?

Simple but addictive. Great (post)apocalyptic atmosphere with many nice details, like what appears to be an alien war being fought in the background. Well done!

Very nice presentational polish, catchy music, and solidly fun gameplay! Some jumps felt a bit unfair by virtue of the limited space to see in front of me, but it was still addicting and I played a good few times.

Such a beautiful pico 8 entry, I just love the polish with the glass breaking, the birds flying off and the amazing animations in the background. Super well done! I played for a good ten mins and almost got to 600 points after a few of those runs but unfortunately I kept dying by not really seeing enough ahead of me to know how big / small a jump I should do. I hope that's not too much of a horrible score lol

Great job!

Great homage, you captured a lot of the elements of the original game really well, like breaking through the glass, the birds scattering on landing, and the city being destroyed in the background!  Canabalt was a big inspiration for the game we developed for the jam too, so it was really fun surprise seeing your submission.

О, это же тот самый Vector. Тоже думал взять за основу этот геймплей.
Сеттинг интригует.
Камера только предательски (хоть и эффектно) улетает с тобой, что мешает оценивать зону посадки.

I was parkouring across some rooftops then got distracted by a spaceship… didn’t see that coming. gg
