Very cute! Seems like the no internet google game but with the charge thing as an extra. Style is cute and simple, gampley is direct and easy. I would delete the tutorial/tip a few seconds into the gameplay or once the player uses both actions. Aldo, I would made teh cloud move to the otehr direction.
Pretty cool in general!
Maybe its just nostalgia for messing around on the family computer, but I kind of love the art style you have going on here. Has a kind of je ne sais quoi to it.
Really like the hand drawn style in the graphics and controls. Cool that you made your own music too, I hadn't heard of BeepBox before.
Would be nice if the dino felt like it was moving faster when charging too.
Sure, it is simple at first. Yet as an endless runner, I did play more than 1 session and had fun with it. I think with a few improvements (e.g. better jump accuracy, difficulty scale) this might be the next dinosaur run. And please keep the charming graphics :)
I really love the style you've gone for here. Sometimes there seems to be an impossible jump between boulders, but juggling two abilities was fun.
Nice work making something clear how to play! I will say the timing felt a little strange. Maybe it was the collision shapes. I felt like I needed to charge sooner than I would expect or I hit a collision. Adding sound effects (I saw your slider but didn’t notice any in the game) would go a long way in feeling the impact of the charge. My farthest distance was 69 meters!
Side note, we also made a similar game to you with charging across the screen :)
