A positively silly little adventure. I can't see myself seriously inserting this into a campaign, but it'd make for an exceptionally fun one-shot, cartoony dream sequence, or a self aware "End of Season Non-Canon OVA Episode".
Charming and campy in all the best ways, well done.
A very fun adventure, especially with how much variety you managed to fit into the encounters in just 2 pages while still keeping them all about the central theme of defending the cake!
I wish the adventure could have included a clean, full-sized version of the map that could be printed or put into a VTT for players, but I understand that with the short page limit that just wasn't doable.
Very impressed with how you fit a whole little staged quest/encounter into the space provided. I like the different vibes of the encounters, too; each one almost feels like a miniature episode with a unique tone. I am a little unsure about the encounter balance here, but I bet a tactical party could take it!
Very fun if not a little chaotic, you leaned into the theme to great effect, only thing and it's a nitpick is having to reference another document for statblocks, and the optional use of the dastards booklet being only for patreon members.
But very fun concept, you clearly had fun with it and it shows!
This entry really leans into the bit, and is rewarded for it. The cake mechanics are unique, and the parade of villains focused wholly on eating it makes the whole thing very funny. However, it's really hard for me to imagine running this, except maybe as a one-shot, and I would have liked to see more ideas for different ways to use the cake encounter mechanics. That's probably personal preference, though. Solid entry!
Wow! Hilarious, creative, ridiculous. 5 stars.
Really fun, well presented, and appropriately humorous. One slight issue. Why do I not have the option to throw a slice of cake at my foes to make them fall over in a comical fashion? Genuinely great work though.
"Theme: How well does it fit the theme? Does it make you think of DS's anniversary?" How could I not with all this cake in front of me??? This supplement is just a whole lot of fun
This is really silly, which is its charm. The world is too grim dark as it is for our games to always have to be dark as well. This is camp, through and through.
Big fan! Love the goofy Saturday-morning-cartoon vibes! (War dogs wanting the villagers to make a cake for Ajax instead is so funny.) 5 stars on the Enjoyment rating for me, for sure!
