This was a really good game, gameplay is reliable old TD stuff which I will always like, music was really chill so it was easy to keep playing for the whole 50 waves

Nice work! Getting a whole TD game done in 9 days is impressive. I liked the currency falling where the ghosts were defeated, seeing a bunch of blobs in one place after a run told me about where the kill zones were.

Thanks for playing! I had very strong programmers on the team which made it possible to make a TD game.

Fun game! One feature request: could you highlight the pointer? I regularly lost it on later levels and couldn't quickly see which tower I was charging.

Developer

Glad you liked it. Yes, we were planning to rework the charging such that its an area around the cursor so you can charge multiple towers at the same time and make it easier to see what you are charging.

I had a great time playing! I loved the extra functionality to the standard tower defense formula. I would have appreciated it way more if there was a unit selling feature though, or at least a unit moving feature. Great game overall though!

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked it! Tower selling and moving would certainly be a good feature

Pretty fun game overall! It would have been nice to tell the charge of the enemies even quicker than just by using the symbols around them, playing on higher speeds makes it hard to pick out which enemy is which, and it makes it harder to charge your towers appropriately. The game itself was very polished though. Great work!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

The charging mechanics get annoying when you have a lot of towers. Also, speeding up the game shouldn't speed up the bonus reduction timer. It feels awkward to keep changing speeds between planning defense and spawning enemies. If you want to keep it this way, consider adding keybinds (1, 2, 3) for game speed.

Developer

Thanks for playing and feedback! Good idea with the key binds. For charging I was planning to make it so its a radius around cursor which grows over time so that later you can charge more towers at once.

The speed up suggestion I’m still not sure about. We had a lot of discussion about this internally. We didn’t want to have different game speeds at a disadvantage.
