I think your HTML version is not working as intended. I looked at the screenshots you posted. It does not seem to work like the screenshots. I read the other comments too.

Could I get a tutorial? I don't understand how to wrap things.
Hey! try to place them in the center of the paper and release them.
I know it's a bit confusing cause some gifts have the same size but the paper won't work even if it's a good size. That's because each gift has his own paper even though other wrapping also have the same size that its paper
Thanks for the advice, but sadly I still can't even get to the wrapping stage (my original problem was that I didn't know how to progress to the wrappig stage). Have I messed up something here or is the game bugged? I played the updated version and there everything was working, it is very fun, but in the jam edition something ain't right and I don't know if it's me or the game. I put down all the matching colored gifts but it doesn't progress.
