Thank you very much! I ran out of time (as you do at Trijam) but now I actully have art for the grandma among several other things and I plan to release the game after the jam has ended.

It seems "I've gotten thin". Fun gameplay loop with a very cool concept, would love to see higher difficulties or a bit more variation for more replayibility, the concept could work well with them in my opinion.

Huge thanks for playing and feedback! The character controller I'm using works as intended, but may not be fit for this game, I just grabbed it from one of my other projects.

Like every Trijam, I aimed for a much bigger projects than I had the time for, thus I left out some assets (like the player or background), some gameplay mechanics (I originally intended for bits of puzzles, like needing to use the wrench to open a walve to get water flowing to turn a mill's wheel to turn it on and that and the wheat granting you the flour), music, and of course, the ending. But I plan on releasing a version that actually resembles my vision and completes the game after the jam has ended if you'd like to see the intended game.

Also thanks on the compliment of the art, I'm trying to develop some skills I've been wanting to for some time now and hone my style.

Thank you!

Hi! I wanted to try out your game, but sadly couldn't. Unity projects not only require the .exe file but other things as well (like the player.dll). When uploading a game you need to zip the whole folder of the builded project to be able to download it after.

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you liked the concept, as this project was just to play with the concept. The red button only gives 1 point because that is the easiest task from the four, but the others give more. I know it crashes, i'm gonna look into that. If you know all the four jobs to do (red button, blue square, addition and multiplication then you can beat the game if you are fast enough. Pressing the yellow button btw is not necessary, it just speeds up the process but your focus should be on doing the four main tasks.

Yeah, I wrote that in the controls section of the itch page.

I recommend reading all the controls and the "your jobs include section" as everything is listed there. The game is confusing, I know, but once you get the hang of it I think it's pretty good.

Thanks for playing! Sometimes it is even hard for me to navigate map because just like you said nothing indicates where you at, I will possibly overhaul the entire movment in a future update. You can leave any rating you want, I don't want to get a good place anyway, I know the game is really unfinished and doesn't even match the theme, so I don't have high hopes, just wanted to make a game like this and this was the best opportunity to show some people the rough edges of the concept.

The physics are a bit janky, but the music and leveldesign is pretty good.

It looks so good!

This is as good as it gets, best I've seen in  Trijam.

Very unique artstyle, fun game!

Nice art. Did you write the music as well?

this game good.

Very fun game, good job! I don't know how to get past the "everything in green" request. Is there a way to make the cat, hat or cigarette appear in green?

Holy moly this game looks so cool and feels so cool.

Thank you very much! I wanted to go for a stylistic approach, since I've never really done that before with my games. I think I spent only 2/3 of the time on programming, the other went to the music and art.

Thanks! Definetly agree on the boots, the scaling is exponential (I don't know why I thought that was a good idea), and gets out of hand real quick.

Thanks for the advice, but sadly I still can't even get to the wrapping stage (my original problem was that I didn't know how to progress to the wrappig stage). Have I messed up something here or is the game bugged? I played the updated version and there everything was working, it is very fun, but in the jam edition something ain't right and I don't know if it's me or the game. I put down all the matching colored gifts but it doesn't progress.

No problems at all, I really liked the game, just if you planned on updating the game or making a similar in the future I think that could help. And it is a great game considering it's your first jam and you didn't have much time.

Very fun!

Love the art style, and once I understood what to do it was pretty fun.

Could I get a tutorial? I don't understand how to wrap things.

The controls are a bit janky, the sfx are a masterpiece.

Very fun idea!

The ending is hilarious.

Keybinds would benefit the game, otherwise it's well executed.

Fun idea, but 20 stages are a bit too much I think.

Extremely cool, but the placement and rotation is a bit janky, also there is not enough time (at least for my smooth brain).

This is giving trijam.exe vibes.

This game really is the weirdest.

Thank you very much!

They move randomly, and if close enough to the player (2 squares close) they will move towards it). Thanks for appriciating the music, glad you liked.

Cool idea, but everything happens too fast (or I'm just slow as a sloth).

It truly lives up to the name: this game requires precise timing. Cool that you didn't just make a reflex-meter or you know where you just have to suddenly press the space key.

(1 edit)

Fun game with a cool idea but the movement and the placement of the cones could be improved a bit.

Amazing game!

Cool thing to make a game out of an actual thing people do. The gameplay is fun, good job!
