Interesting mechanic. At first I didn’t quite understand the reason for the slow movement and long duration of it but I found it fun to preprogram the commands so it solve the puzzles correctly haha. I would suggest adding a “Confirm” or “Start Sequence” buttons so players can challenge themselves to plan out the whole thing before watching it play out haha.

Initially, I wanted to add a mechanic where the robot loses one energy every tick, even in idle, after the player has input the first command. However, my implementation was a bit buggy, so I removed it before submission. In its current state, I would probably reduce the tick time by 1/3. But for a complete game, different modes (as is, with energy drain, with complete pre-planning) would certainly be great.

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Really great idea! I had a total flashback to programming with Robot Carol back in school!

Great Job!

Thank you!

Simple and sweet. More levels would be great if you want to continue working on this after the jam!

Developer

Thanks!

I will add at least 4 more levels (which I had already designed but couldn't finish during the jam).

Would love to have more levels for this game, because it's so simple yet relaxing and cozy. Great job in 48 hours.

Thanks!

I actually couldn't work on it for half of Saturday, and could have included more levels with only 2 more hours. I will update the game with the levels I had already designed after the reviews are completed.

Cool Concept, reminds me of these programming learning games in school!

Art was nice and simple, but I wished there would be more levels :)

Keep up the good work!

Thanks!

I will update the game with some more levels after the jam ends.

I really like the base concept :D

Maybe it lacks a bit of surprise?

It wasn't really hard to do and somewhat slow. Maybe it would have been a bit more interesting if you could win the level in a "good" or "bad" way? For Example you have this cooldwon circle if the bots moving, and what if the player can press a button at the right time to speed the movement up a bit. Then you could say, completing the level in time x gives one star, a bit faster gives 2 stars and if you hit the spots all the time perfectly you get 3 stars.

Just a random idea xD

Yeah, unfortunately I ran out of time to build my levels. The first levels currently available in the game were planned as a tutorial. The next level would have introduced controlling multiple robots in one level. After that, the difficulty of the levels would have increased to actually require some thinking from players.

But thanks for playing and the feedback! :)
