Super cool concept that has a ton of potential to be expanded upon. Good job!

I really like this game! It's so amazing that you do all the art and music! Great job :D 👍GG

📢 Quick note for everyone! The Web version has known camera bugs after you die due to HTML5 export. For the best experience without glitches, please download the Windows version! Thanks for playing and rating!

a little messy code wise, but fun and a good effort

Developer

Glad you liked it. It's a shame I didn't have time to fix all the bugs before release.

I like this game a lot, but it has quite a few issues. First of all, when you're fighting the first boss, if you die and got back to fight the camera stops moving with you for some reason. Which meant I had to reload the page every time I wanted to fight him (which was VERY annoying for someone who has really bad internet)., which leads us to problem number two, the intro text can't be skipped, which in my case meant I had to wait for it to finish every time. and last but least, problem number three,  idk if saving doesn't work or if it's the same as problem one (with the camera), but after I got to the golden orb boss and died the camera went right back to the start of the game but there was nothing I could control.

Again, it's a good idea and a good game, it just needs more work fixing the bugs and polishing. Keep up the good work.

Glad you liked the game! Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to fix the camera bugs in the web version. They aren't present in the Windows version, though. And you're completely right about the cutscene. I forgot to add a skip condition, but unfortunately, I can't fix bugs during the game jam. Thanks again for the feedback!

Try the Windows version. It doesn't have any camera bugs.

Great art and great music! This project has lots of potential for further development, for now I got stuck between rooms every time I died for the first boss, which obligated me to reinitialize the game after every death if I wanted to keep playing. You could add a skip button for the initial cutscene for anyone who has played before, like in Silksong, and fixing the camera and rooms bugs would bring great improvement already.  Keep working on this game I would really love to play it in the future

Thank you for the feedback! I'm sorry you ran into those bugs. As far as I know, the camera issues only happen in the web version. And you're totally right about the cutscene — I forgot to set a condition so it would only play on the first launch. It's too late to fix it right now since the game jam is still running. But don't worry, I'll definitely fix all the bugs once it's over!

Really cool concept; a bit more polishing would make it look spectacular. Good job!

I LOVE THE ART AND THE MUSIC, the charm is very appealing and you can tell there was a lot of effort.

unfortunately, i kept getting stuck between rooms, like the camera wouldn't move to the next room after dying.

other than that, it's really fun and well-made.

I'm glad you liked it. Unfortunately, these are bugs in the web version. The Windows app doesn't seem to have this.

So, the concept is interesting. The implementation, to be honest, isn’t very good. I just got stuck at the moment of transitioning from the gray location to the yellow one; once I ended up going through the textures, and the second time I just didn’t understand how to move forward, even though I pressed every button many times. I liked the sounds and the animation. Overall, this game has a lot of room for improvement — for example, the pause menu and exiting to the menu; when I got stuck, I couldn’t get back to the save, so I had to restart the game. But I wish you luck in developing this game, or in any future projects.

I hope that you will play my game and leave your feedback too)

Thanks for the honest review. Yes, I know there are bugs. But that's due to the short development time and the rich functionality. If you still haven't been able to progress, try again. You just need to move away from the right wall a little. I've attached a video to YouTube. You can see a full run there.

Wow this is really impressive! Turning into the bosses is such a cool idea, you can definitely build on this. The soundtrack was awesome and I loved the visuals! Great job!
