Use of the theme
i've tried to incorporate every theme. there's an open environment in which you are nonetheless stuck. there's spying mechanics and it has different content for every run!

It took me way too long to realise you're suppose to click on the sides of the screen to move around. -_-

That said, once I'd figured out that and that the monster is  sometimes in the investigation spot, it all made a lot more sense. A proper atmospheric game, funky monochrome art, even the audio kinda gave me a nostalgic retro game feel. Definitely out in the open, depending on how open the trees are (and much time you spend hiding!), replayable,.. I didn't get the stuck or spying so much but meh, they're optional anyway. The only thing I couldn't really rate highly on was horniess - I haven't heard of teratophilia , "monster kink" yes but usually in the context of monsters breeding rather than just kililng. I hate to yuck someone's yum, but, personally, it's just not yummy. Great horror game, though! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

thanks for the detailed feedback! it is indeed not a flavour for everyone, but i'm happy to hear those people seem to enjoy the game regardless :)

the next update adds little arrows on the sides for clarity, as well as a warning for monsters in the investigation spot. i'm thinking either a heartbeat or the monster's breath to watch out for.

i've got a couple ideas for more content based on the existing mechanics. if i find the right spot i'll definitely have some more sexy stuff in there for the persistent player :)

This dithered black and white art is beautiful, and I enjoyed my runs of things game even if I couldn't actually get a win. It does feel a little cheap when the monster is in the outhouse or shrub you're inspecting. but I assume I'm just missing the audio cue.

Slightly annoyed that it gives you a "Right report. Wrong evidence." if you submit without all 5, but that's probably better than just resetting and blind guessing. (I think Dead Game, Bite Marks, Semen is only Werewolf though)

thanks for the feedback. that people are enjoying this without even winning should be considered a positive!

i agree that submitting the right monster with wrong evidence producing a loss isn't the best. it does allow me to show glimpses of the monster without negating the rest of the mechanics, hopefully a net positive.

right now there is no good way to tell a monster is hiding behind a door, i wanted to leave it a surprise. in the next update i'm adding a heartbeat sound once you start opening a spot where there's a monster. it's up to the player to be cautious when opening doors.
