Just gave this a go for the review swap. It generally looks nice, but you might want to put some kind of coloured rectangle behind the text as I struggled to read it.
The controls are simple enough to understand.
Keep making small games and have fun.
For the presentation, it definitely looks great!

But it doesnt scale nor move to centre when i switch to full screen or browser zoom level and u can even see some of those black bars on the right and at the bottom even when not in full screen
Other than that, I like the water ripple particle effects but when you are moving alot they CAN make the whole scene very noisy with it hard to read whats going on.. So maybe you can make them a bit more transparent or decrease their quantity?
For gamefeel, I would suggest more ambient music, sfx and that kinda stuff
Also maybe add an on screen cooldown for when can u dash/skate next?
If you wanna expand the game further, maybe there are some mobs which we will die if we touch them?
So you have to look out which targets to go for
I feel what you have made is already veryy good!
Just need those extra Quality of life improvements to get a better experience :D
The concept of the game is simple but effective.
I found the controls aren't enough responsive to enjoy all the potential of the game.
The game don't get fullscreen and seems to have no sounds ?
I really liked the art and especially the background! I love water gliders as well, so this clicked with me right away.
The ripples are a nice touch, but they can make things a bit difficult to see at times due to the thin legs. This is not a big problem though, as I always knew where I was heading. Would have liked maybe if the left/right rotation was a bit faster, but that's not really an issue either as the game is quite easy. I would like to try a higher difficulty!
Overall, a lovely game. Cheers!
A creative idea with a creative execution! It looks great and is fun, too. Maybe it could be a little smoother and the UI could be a bit bigger, but overall, it's very good!
